I would not let Russia off the hook so easily. I think they substantially controlled NK and we took it away from them. Trump is really putting the hammer to Putin (but with a smile), who was allied with Obama in various ways. Obama was maybe a Chinese product, but he had a lot of alliance with Russia too.

Makes sense. The one picture would make you think skies on earth are usually blue and cloudless. That's not my experience, usually some clouds are visible even on a clear sunny day.
Well if he went 2 years past the statutory limit, then I think he really did expect that he could be reappointed. (If he had stayed just within the 10 years, then I would think differently.) Trump probably didn't want him, and the statutory limit was a very good reason to turn him down. Maybe that's what the discussion was in that meeting, Mueller asking Trump to bend the law, and Trump saying no.
