Former CNN host Jim Acosta recently interviewed an artificial intelligence bot version of one of the victims of the Parkland shooting, Joaquin Oliver, who was reportedly killed during the school shootout in 2018. They discussed gun control. Some critics accused Accosta of being emotionally manipulative and others criticized him for using the identity of the dead young man to generate content and clicks for his Youtube channel.

Hamas Video Shows Hostage Digging His Own Grave. Israel Has History of Refusing to Exchange Hostages

 

Hamas released video footage of the Israeli hostage Evyatar David inside of a tunnel where he said that he was digging his own grave and appears emaciated. Israeli protesters, including the families of the hostages, gathered in Tel Aviv over the weekend to demand Netanyahu end the war in Gaza and get back all hostages still held in the territory.

The Guardian reported that Hamas will not disarm unless an independent Palestinian state is created, however,Hamas has tried numerous times to exchange all Palestinian hostages for all Israeli hostages.

 

In the final video, an Israeli soldier said that his commander told him and his fellow soldiers to stand down on the day of the October 7, 2023 attacks on Israel by Hamas. The testimony provides more evidence that the event was planned and Israel knew about it. Jimmy Dore said that the purpose of the war is to take land from the Palestinians and keep Netanyahu out of prison.

Florida: Sewell Setzer, A 14-year-old boy killed himself in February 2024 after a lifelike “Game of Thrones” chatbot he’d been messaging for months on an artificial intelligence (AI) app sent him an eerie message telling him to “come home” to her, a lawsuit filed by his grief-stricken mom claims. Character.AI is a role-playing app that lets users engage with AI-generated characters, and he was interacting with the Daenerys Targaryen character. Sewell’s mother has blamed Character.AI for the teen’s death because the app allegedly fueled his AI addiction, sexually and emotionally abused him and failed to alert anyone when he expressed suicidal thoughts, according to the filing.
