This is getting too confusing.

MA tweet is aerial image of said combat in the 1986 film, Top Gun (most y'all knew that)…..
but the script called for citing Mig-38's (there were no such Mig-38's).
These were in fact Northrops F-5 Tiger II, painted to look like an adversary for the film.
Off-hand, F-5 … 5x5?…. probably not, but there it is.
