personally i would go back with all the things ive learned and know to avoid alot of things.
i almost picked up a guy walking as i was driving today. i would've done it before…maybe i should've. now i feel guilty for not asking if he needed help getting to where ever he was going.
when i was younger i had to get on welfare to live in the city. i was pregnant at the time single in a black community.
i also had to go get help from heap and both were colored ladies who said i don't deserve their help when in fact i did.
again that is the first time i encountered racism including the neighborhood i lived in. that do nor will not make me racist against them. clearly they shouldn't have been working for human resources in any shape or form. even bank one transferred us to a colored lady who also was racist. seems the city was or chosen to support that idea because even the cops were a disapointment.
bias/racism has no place in places supposedly trying to help people.

there is a difference in getting help when needed. i am disabled. altho the ssi said oh we know but sorry i had no choice but to use the human resources. there is a difference in thinking someone owes you when you want to live like kings.. i was working 2 jobs before i got pregnat and never ever had my nails done. i wanted to.. you see all these girls with nice nails and with a thyroid problem i could never grow nails. well they are weak and break easy. so seeing them spend cash assistance on getting their nails done and hair did bothered me some. it was always about the bling bling. i dont care anymore as you either like/love me for who i am or you don't. don't care either way. i throw my hair up in a bun because its too long to deal with but i like long hair. i don't care if its messy even. looks never mattered to me in other people. why should it matter to me as a person as long as i do basics im okay with it. can't change the hand ive been dealt but i can say at least i am me.
