I honestly do not care what people have done in the past. Everyone has made the same mistake for a very long time. That's perfectly fine and easy to forgive, because that's what made the world work, based upon what we used to know about it.

That's changed now, however, and those who are attempting to use violence and/or threats of violence to force the world to continue to work the same way that it used to, are accomplishing nothing but guaranteeing it's destruction.
