600 Israeli Ex-Officials Condemn Gaza War and Reveal that Extremist Fundamentalists Are in Power
More than a dozen former top Israeli security officials, including ex-Prime Minister Ehud Barak, former Mossad directors and former IDF chiefs, have released a powerful video message urging an immediate end to the Gaza war. They acknowledged that support for Israel internationally has been severely damaged. One of the former officials said, “Right now we have a government that the Messianic zealots have pulled in a certain, irrational direction.” Yoram Cohen said that the extremists are a minority, but they control policy. Nadav Argaman said that the government has headed toward a fundamentalist worldview “and it has taken us all hostage.”

Around 600 retired Israeli security officials, including former heads of intelligence agencies, have written to US President Donald Trump to pressure Netanyahu to immediately end the war in Gaza.
