It's not the cannabis they'd be overdosing on, the stuff is laced with something if that's the case, and that's the risk you run buying from shady characters from the black market.

Du Pont invented nylon in 1935. Ropes were traditionally made from hemp, the benign cannabis. In 1936 "Reefer Madness" was released by Hollywood, arguably a propaganda piece because the way the actors behaved does not resemble how people that take it behave. In 1937 cannabis was criminalized.

That plant is a threat to many big industries. Paper, cotton, chemical.

Yeah, just saw that they were talking about gummies. I don't believe the poisoning bullshit, I've been using it for 35 fuckin' years and the only "overdoeses" I've ever seen from it is someone falling asleep on the couch for a couple hours and waking up hungry.

Good for paper. You grow an acre of trees, how long does it take before you can harvest it, then how long you wait before you can harvest again. With hemp, densely packed harvests every fuckin' year. It's not criminalized because of it's harm, hell, any vice can be harmful, alcohol arguably does more damage to the body and home and family than pot does, it's criminalized because it's a threat to the money making of the elites.

Well, not just the money making, but control and power too. When you got the lock on all the rope being made, well then.

I mean there's a reason I stopped talking about it here. Then a bunch of you all start talking about what you're smoking and when and whatnot and now there's this shit going on in the media. Smarten the fuck up.

I mean, it's much easier to criminalize a plant than trying to regulate something that everyone can grow in their own homes. I think it should be left up to each state to decide for themselves how they want to handle it, with it being regulated in a similar manner to alcohol, by the ATF.

Because if it's the gummies, edibles can fuck a person up, and I think they're just calling it "poisoning" when people think they're too high but their body is not poisoned unless there's something else other than cannabis in those gummies. Should be regulated at a milligram level the same way alcohol has an ABV. Standard fuckin' servings, man.
