The opposite of this is true. The FBI was weaponized to protect Obama and all of his cronies and now it's (hopefully) being returned to a non-partisan investigative service. The "steady state" is the "deep state" - it's all the same nonsense. Lie after lie after lie.
I won't argue this point. I feel you could make a pretty good case to disband both the FBI and the DOJ. I won't, personally, ever trust either organization after what they've done.
