BOMBSHELL: UK Government Accused of Running Dinghies Back to France for Reuse by Channel Migrants
GXO Logistics, a major global contract logistics company, has been linked to the transportation of inflatable dinghies in the context of illegal migration across the English Channel. In August 2023, lan Simpson from the group Stop the Invasion filmed dinghies being loaded onto a truck in Dover, UK, for shipment to France.
These dinghies, allegedly used by illegal migrants to cross from France to the UK, were reportedly transported back to France, fully inflated, for potential reuse. The truck, identified by the registration RX68YKA, was said to be operated by GXO Logistics, according to a post by Andrew Bridgen on X. GXO, which does not own the trucks but focuses on improving logistics efficiency, was under a 2021 five-year contract with the UK government to manage transport and warehousing for the Home Office's Border Force operations, covering the UK, Northern Ireland, and the UK border at Coquelles, France. This has led to speculation that GXO's logistics services may facilitate the movement of dinghies, potentially enabling further crossings, though no direct evidence confirms GXO's intent to support illegal migration.
