Workers say that a massive computer system outage has taken place today (Thursday, August 14) at Rolls-Royce in Derby and they say it has left them unable to log in to any of their IT systems. Employees have contacted Derbyshire Live to express their concerns that it could be a cyber attack or outsourcing issue and one has claimed that "not a single employee can log in to any system".

But the company has played down the claim and a spokesman said: "We are aware of a temporary technical configuration issue affecting a small number of colleagues. This is not cyber-related and is not affecting production, manufacturing or our products."
