this is correct

The problem is that the photo was taken on the sidewalk or in a parked car on the side of the road and it was taken with a telephoto lens so the foreground and the background are squashed together messing up perspectives. But this IS the exact spot

Anon, the differences are spacial

And it's due to angle and a zoom lens

Zoom lenses will squash the foreground with the background messing up the how far away things look

It ABSOLUTELY IS the spot

take a few minutes on google images and look for each element individually and make sure you understand that the photo was taken way back behind a white fire hydrant.

In fact the guy walking is almost parallel to the fire hydrant. The zoom lens brings everything from the background closer so it's confusing.
