SAN FRANCISCO — California’s unemployment rate increased slightly in July and is now the highest of any state in the nation. California added 15,000 nonfarm jobs in July, according to the Employment Development Department, pushing the unemployment rate up 0.1% to 5.5%, which is higher than that of any other state and higher than the national average of 4.2%. Today’s Trump–Putin summit is taking place at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson in Alaska. If they meet in the commander’s residence, it will be inside Quarters 1, known as Q1, located on 17th Street. Locals simply call it “The Q” (with Q, of course, being the 17th letter of the alphabet).
But it gets eveb more interesting…. On official maps, Q1 is marked with a castle — a symbol that appears in numerous Q drops, often connected to strongholds, sieges, and strategic plays.
In chess, castling is a defensive maneuver to protect the king while activating a powerful piece. One could almost see Trump’s presence in Alaska inside “The Q,” - the symbolic castle — as a form of protection while something, God knows what, is unfolding back at the White House under the pretense of a routine drill.
When two of the world’s most powerful leaders sit down at “The Q,” on 17th Street, under the sign of a castle, the imagery is impossible to ignore. For those who speak the language of geopolitical symbolism, it feels less like coincidence and more like deliberate stagecraft; the kind of move that says the board is set and the next play has been long prepared.
