Towards the end of June, I posted an admittedly somewhat cryptic graphic (Signal 1)
that I hoped (with some warrant, I think) would elicit a response
from our friends in the Executive Branch.
On my analysis, they delivered very nicely.
I have spent considerable time since then working on this much less cryptic graphic (Exposition 1),
much of which is devoted to making the case that they indeed delivered a well-thought reply.
My hope now is that some anons will dive in and comprehensively evaluate whether I make that case effectively.
But you need not commit to that task at the outset.
The graphic is designed so that the earlier sections can be assessed on a piecemeal basis.
And by all means, you can approach the task with the aim of refuting me.
But if you do make some effort to assess my reasoning, why not post your results, in whatever form suits you?
As to where this is going and what it amounts to,
there is some discussion in the later portions of the graphic itself.
But you might also draw some reasonable conclusions from my naming conventions.
As I am finishing the preparation of this post, the link to my earlier Crimson Tide post currently 404's.
This is rather frustrating, and arguably undermines this post, as nobody can confirm my earlier post right now.
Nonetheless, I am posting now since I am done with this graphic, and would like to proceed to others.
Also, I am reposting the "Signal 1" graphic here so that you can actually see it.
(I had not intended to repost it here.)
I am reminded of Teddy Roosevelt Jr's Utah Beach line: "We'll start the war from right here!"
And that reminds me that maybe I should suck it up and not complain.
Fighting in the "Q army" often sucks, but it fits my skills and I think it makes a difference.
It very often sucks and seems pointless and hopeless, except when it doesn't
and at least I probably won't get shot and bleed to death while drowning after I click REPLY.
