Thousands Protest Migrant Hotels Across England as Movement Grows

Kurt Zindulka18 Aug 20251/2

Protests against migrant hotels continue across England as native Britons rage over the government putting local women and children at risk by placing unvetted young male asylum seekers in their midst.

Multiple towns and cities in England saw locals pour out onto the streets again over the weekend, in a continuation of the protest movement that was sparked in June in the town of Epping in Essexafter a hotel migrant from Ethiopia, Hadush Gerberslasie Kebatu, was accused of sexually assaulting a 14-year-old girl just days after arriving in Britain illegally by boat across the English Channel.

Hundreds gathered outside the Bell Hotel on Sunday, which was used to house the Ethiopian migrant, among others. The hotel faces a legal challenge at the High Court from local officials, who argue that it should be shut down as migrant accommodation because it has become “a feeding ground for unrest”. Essex Police saidthat the protest was held peacefully and did not result in any arrests.

The protesters in Epping were joined by de facto Tory leader Robert Jenrick, who has been leading a punchy campaign ion recent months to portray the party as having come round to the public’s way of thinking on border control, after a disastrous 14 years in power. On X, the Conservative MP wrote: “Great to be with peaceful, patriotic protesters in Epping today. People are right to be fed up of illegal migration. And the crime and billions being wasted because of it. Starmer should get out of Westminster, listen to people’s concerns, and act to keep us safe.”

However, figures from Nigel Farage’s Reform UK were quick to note that it was Jenrick’s party which first began to use hotels en masse to house illegal migrants coming across the Channel, and which also implemented post-Brexit immigration liberalisation that led to record numbers of legal migrants being foisted upon the country, despite having previously promised to do the opposite. Indeed, Jenrick himself was once Immigration minister and boasted of establishing migrant hotels, leading to questions over how sincere the Tory volte-face is.

Hundreds more gathered on Sunday in the Norwich town of Bowthorpe outside of the Brook Hotel, again, in response to the government commandeering the facility to house supposed asylum seekers.

As with other similar protests, the demonstration saw mothers and other women dressed in pink to highlight the threat that young military age male migrants being dumped into their communities pose to women and girls.

According to the Norwich Evening News, participants carried placards reading “Starmer I am not far right! Just a concerned grandmother” and “make our streets safe again”.

In London, the “Pink Lady” protesters gatheredyet again on Sunday in Canary Wharf outside the Britannia International Hotel, which the government recently took over to house hundreds of migrants. However, the demonstration also saw the arrival of young masked men, some of whom were carrying St George and Union Jack flags.

The Metropolitan Police invoked Section 14 of the Public Order Act to “prevent serious disruption” and ordered that the protest be shut down. In total, the Met said that it made six arrests at the demonstration.

Meanwhile, in addition to organised street protests, others have been engaging in another form of civil disobedience, with natives hoisting British and English flags — which have become symbols, remarkably, of resistance within their own country — in their locales on street fixtures such as lamp posts.

The trend appears to have begun in the multicultural city of Birmingham, where the left-wing Labour council has come under fire for taking down UK flags while refusing to remove Palestinian flags without police escort for fear of reprisals.

Commenting on the “raising the colours” movement, Professor Matthew Goodwin remarked:“This should be seen for what it is —an act of resistance against mass uncontrolled immigration, broken borders, the decision by politicians to house illegal migrants in the heart of their communities, and the loss of their national identity.

=“By flying their flags, they are letting us all know that they do exist, they do belong, they do have a home, and there is a ‘we’ they want to reassert and protect, no matter how much the elite class want them and you to think otherwise.”

Ball Is Now In Zelensky’s Court Says Trump as European Leaders Arrive in Washington for White House Talks

Oliver JJ Lane18 Aug 20251/2

(Fuck the EU elite that believe they will crash and burn Trump and Putin’s desire to end the war.)

Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky can immediately end the Russian invasion “if he wants to” by accepting the terms being offered to him, U.S. President Donald Trump wrote ahead of European leaders descending on Washington en masse on Monday.

Volodymyr Zelensky will meet with President Trump at the White House on Monday and will be supported by the presence of a large delegation of European leaders who say they are determined to see Europe’s perspective on the Ukraine War imposed on peace talks. These talks come as comments from Brussels and Washington make clear a gulf exists between the European maximalist position on international law being in the driving seat, and President Trump’s push for ending the killing by gaining concessions.

Russia adds its own roadblocks to peace into the mix, offering a deal with one hand while insisting on red lines and demands that are abhorrent to the other parties with the other. Russia has also resisted so far trilateral talks in the Russia-U.S.-Ukraine format, without which a peace deal will probably remain impossible.

Writing overnight, President Trump made abundantly clear that Monday’s meetings would not be a simple matter of handshakes and photo calls, stating the onus is now on Ukraine to agree to make peace. President Trump said on Truth Social: “President Zelenskyy of Ukraine can end the war with Russia almost immediately, if he wants to, or he can continue to fight”.

There is “no getting back” Crimea, Trump said — while noting that it had been effectively handed over to Russia by former President Obama’s limp-wristed responseto the little green men in 2014 — and no NATO membership on the table. “Some things never change”, Trump added.

The comments are a hammer-blow to European Union demand-making, which has spent the days since the Trump-Putin meeting on Friday insisting the war should only end on terms they agree with. “International borders must not be changed by force”, a European Union statement at the weekend said yet again, while also demanding “Russia cannot have a veto against Ukraine‘s pathway to EU and NATO”.

It also appears to be bad news for Europe’s position — which it shares with Ukraine — that a ceasefire must come before peace negotiations begin. Trump indicated over the weekend that he’d not come to that position, and now thinks “the best way to end the horrific war between Russia and Ukraine is to go directly to a Peace Agreement, which would end the war, and not a mere Ceasefire Agreement, which often times do not hold up.”

Worse still, it was widely reported over the weekend that Russia’s Putin allegedly offered instant peace and a hand-signed written pledge never to attack Ukraine or any European country again in return for being handed the whole of the Donbas. This absolutely would contradict a frequent EU demand that even if Ukraine gets into a discussion of territory swaps for peace, that Russia be given no further territory it hasn’t already occupied by force. Large parts of the Donbas, which encompass Dontesk and Luhansk, remain under Ukrainian control. (Trump is getting direct info from the military and DOS but Z and the EU continue to lie. There is no cease fire so Russia and Ukraine continue the war)

As the European leaders prepare to meet with Trump today, Ukraine’s Zelensky appears to maintain his longstanding position on territory swaps, that his hands are tied because the Ukrainian constitution forbids such a move. Zelensky has already come under fire from President Trump for being unwilling to publicly move on this point, given it could be the key to unlocking peace. However, it is unclear to what extent this is a negotiating position, held to strengthen Ukraine’s hand before it enters the final negotiation, or a sincere red line.

Putin has still not agreed to meet with Ukraine’s Zelensky and continues high-intensity warfare against Ukraine while teasing the prospect of a costly peace deal; factors to European eyes continue to suggest the Russians are stringing along talks to maximise time to make military gains. Responding to Russian airstrikes on Ukraine overnight that killed at least seven, President Zelensky stated just hours before the planned Trump meeting: “The Russian war machine continues to destroy lives despite everything.

“Putin will commit demonstrative killings to maintain pressure on Ukraine and Europe, as well as to humiliate diplomatic efforts. That is precisely why we are seeking assistance to put an end to the killings. That is why reliable security guarantees are required. That is why Russia should not be rewarded for its participation in this war. The war must be ended. And it is Moscow that must hear the word: ‘Stop’.”

The EU’s Foreign Minister analogue made similar remarks over the weekend when she said of Russia: “Putin continues to drag out negotiations and hopes he gets away with it. He left Anchorage without making any commitments… the harsh reality is that Russia has no intention of ending this war anytime soon”.

President Volodymyr Zelensky of Ukraine, Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer of the United Kingdom, President Emmanuel Macron of France, Chancellor Freidrich Merz of Germany, Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni of Italy, President Alexander Stubb of Finland, Commissioner Ursula von der Leyen of the European Union, and Chairman Mark Rutte of NATO are expected at the White House today.

If Zelensky steps out of line once, he could crash and burn any chances, and PDJT is letting the EU know. He doesn’t care for them and knows their plans. Ukraine and the war is run by the EU not Z. I’d love to see a repeat of the last meeting.

Putin shares outcomes of Alaska talks with South African president

The Kremlin says Cyril Ramaphosa has expressed support for diplomatic efforts to resolve the Ukraine conflict

Russian President Vladimir Putin has shared the “main outcomes” of the recent high-level talks in Alaska with his South African counterpart Cyril Ramaphosa, the Kremlin has announced.

Putin met US President Donald Trump in Anchorage, Alaska, on Friday in their first face-to-face encounter since the Ukraine conflict escalated in 2022.

Trump described the negotiations, one of several attempts to resolve the conflict, as “warm,” while the Russian president called them “frank” and “substantive.”

In a statement on Monday, the Kremlin said Presidents Putin and Ramaphosa spoke by phoneto discuss “the Russia–US top-level talks,” without giving further details.

“Ramaphosa expressed his support for the ongoing diplomatic efforts to bring about a peaceful resolution to the Ukraine crisis,” it stated.

South Africa has maintained a neutral stance on the Ukraine conflict despite pressure from Western governments to condemn Moscow. Ramaphosa has positioned himself as an advocate for inclusive peace talks, and led a delegation of African leaders to Kiev and St. Petersburg in June 2023 to advocate for a ceasefire.

Putin previously briefed Ramaphosa on the outcomes of talks with US special envoy Steve Witkoff on the Ukraine conflict earlier this month, when he also expressed appreciation for the African peace initiative.

Aside from the conflict, the Kremlin said the two leaders “reaffirmed their shared commitment to further expanding the comprehensive strategic partnership between Russia and South Africa and working closely together within international frameworks” during Monday’s conversation.

(It’s kind of interesting how Russia diplomatically handles the terrorist countries and Trump handles the Russia hating countries. It’s as if they planned this early on.)

Zelensky rejects Trump’s peace terms

The Ukrainian leader hopes that with the support of Western nations, Kiev can “force Russia into a real peace”

Ukraine’s Vladimir Zelensky, who is slated to meet Donald Trump at the White House on Monday, has seemingly already rejected the terms for peace with Russia laid out by the US president.

Trump wrote on his Truth Social platform on Sunday that Zelensky “can end the war with Russia almost immediately, if he wants to, or he can continue to fight.”

According to the US president, a settlement would require “no getting back… Crimea” and “no going into NATO by Ukraine.”

The Ukrainian leader made a post on X an hour and a half later, again stressing his unwillingness to compromise to end hostilities.

Not Ukraine, but “Russia must end this war, which it itself started. And I hope that our joint strength with America, with our European friends, will force Russia into a real peace,” he insisted.

Zelensky then declared that “I am confident that we will defend Ukraine.”

“Of course, Crimea should not have been given up then, just as Ukrainians did not give up Kiev, Odessa, or Kharkov after 2022,” he added.

Crimea officially became part of Russia in 2014 after the peninsula’s population overwhelmingly supported the move in a referendum.

Despite refusing to make concessions, the Ukrainian leader thanked Trump for the “invite” to the White House and insisted that he and the US president “share a strong desire to end this war quickly and reliably.”

Zelensky is coming to Washington following Friday’s summit in Alaska between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Trump, at which both leaders underlined their commitment to resolving the Ukraine conflict.

Putin reiterated after the talks that eliminating the underlying causes of the fighting is the key to any settlement. According to the Russian side, for lasting peace to be achieved, Ukraine should renounce its aspiration for NATO membership, demilitarize, and recognize the current territorial realities; including the status of Crimea, as well as of Donetsk, Lugansk, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions, the latter four of which voted to join Russia in 2022.

(My guess is Trump will say to the little imp and the EU, both refusing to end the war, you either take it or leave it. The U.S. is out, if Ukraine does not settle with Russia. And the EU will be left with no American NATO soldiers. It’s time to cut the U.S. ties to the NWO)

Trump pushing ‘real’ solution to Ukraine conflict – Putin envoy

Kirill Dmitriev has praised the US president for seeking peace and voiced optimism before White House talks with Zelensky and European leaders

US President Donald Trump and his team are seeking an actual solution to the Ukraine conflict, Kremlin economic envoy Kirill Dmitriev has said.

His comment came ahead of Monday’s White House meeting between Trump, Ukraine’s Vladimir Zelensky, and several European leaders.

Trump has described the upcoming talks as a “big day,” saying he has “never had so many European leaders at one time.”European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, NATO Secretary-General Mark Rutte, and the heads of the UK, France, Germany, Italy, Finland, and other EU institutions are expected to join Zelensky in Washington.

On X, Dmitriev praised Trump for “pushing for the real solution” to the conflictand voiced hope that “problem solving and peace prevail during the Big Day.”

The envoy was part of the Russian delegation at last week’s Alaska summit between Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin, which both sides described as substantive and warm. Following the talks, Trump said he favored a permanent peace deal rather than a ceasefire. Moscow has long opposed short-term truces, arguing they could be exploited by Kiev to regroup and rearm.

The German outletBild reported that Trump’s shift has “thwarted” Kiev’s backers who have insisted that a ceasefire should come first. Dmitriev said over the weekend thatthis group was “in full panic mode” at the prospect of closer US-Russian cooperation on a settlement. He also noted Bild’s suggestion that Western European leaders were accompanying Zelensky to Washington in order to prevent a repeat of his heated clash with Trump and Vice President J.D. Vance during his February visit.

Putin has reiterated that any lasting settlement must eliminate the root causes of the conflict, address Russia’s security concerns, and recognize current territorial realities. Washington has echoed the view that a sustainable peace, rather than a temporary truce, is essential.

Zelensky, meanwhile, has continued to insist on a ceasefire as a prerequisite for talks and has ruled out any land swaps, citing Ukraine’s constitution.

(Since the rogue CIA runs Ukraine the President is negotiating with American IC agencies for the peace deal. Once this is settled Ukraine needs to be freed from the rogue CIA, whose only goal is the defeat and destroy Putin and Russia.)

Rubio issues warning to Ukraine

The conflict “is going to get worse” if Kiev does not agree to a peace deal with Moscow, the US secretary of state has said

The US does not intend to force Ukraine into a peace agreement with Russia, but Kiev must realize that the conflict “is going to get worse” if it is not resolved now, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio has said.

US President Donald Trump said the warring parties were “pretty close to the end” following a summit with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin in Anchorage, Alaska on Friday. He noted though, that “Ukraine has to agree” to any peace deal.

Rubio told CBS on Sunday that “there’s no conditions that can be imposed on Ukraine… ultimately, it’s up to the Ukrainians” to decide on whether to accept an agreement with Russia.

However, it is clear that “after three and a half years, this war is getting worse. It’s not getting better… It’s going to get worse,” the secretary stated.

For the bloodshed to come to an end, both Ukraine and Russia “are going to have to give and both sides should expect to get something from this,” Rubio added. He acknowledged that “that’s a very difficult thing to do,” and that some may find the concessions required to be “distasteful.”

“There are things Russia wants that it cannot get and there are things Ukraine wants that it’s not going to get,” he concluded.

Speaking to Fox News following Friday’s summit, Trump said he would advise Ukraine’s Vladimir Zelensky to “make the deal” with Russia.

Appearing alongside Trump in Anchorage, Putin confirmed that Moscow was “sincerely interested in putting an end” to the fighting.

The Kremlin has consistently described the Ukraine conflict as a proxy war being waged against Russia on behalf of the West, which is prepared to “fight to the last Ukrainian.”Moscow has also repeatedly warned that the longer the conflict lasts, the worse the eventual peace terms for Kiev will be.

(Anons did you notice all the news shows Rubio was on yesterday, he was bored and irritated with the stupid repeated questions of the lefty News.)

Ukraine strikes key oil pipeline to EU – Hungary

The latest attack on Budapest’s energy security is “outrageous and unacceptable,” Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto has said

Russian oil supply to Hungary has been halted after Ukraine targeted the key Druzhba pipeline system, Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto has said.

Moscow has informed Budapest that Russian experts areworking to restore an "essential” transformer station targeted by a Ukrainnian strike, Szijjarto said.

Druzhba is one of the world’s longest networks, transporting crude some 4,000km from Russia and Kazakhstan to refineries in the Czech Republic, Germany, Hungary, Poland, and Slovakia.

Szijjarto wrote in a post on X on Monday that “this latest strike against our energy security is outrageous and unacceptable.”

It is not yet clear when deliveries of oil through the pipeline could resume, he added.

The diplomat reiterated that the Ukraine conflict is “not our war” and that “as long as we [Prime Minister Viktor Orban’s government] are in charge, Hungary will stay out of it.”

Unlike most other EU capitals, which supported Kiev after the escalation of the Ukraine conflict in February 2022, Budapest took a neutral stance and refused to supply weapons to the government of Vladimir Zelensky. It also consistently called for peace and criticized Western sanctions against Russia as ineffective and more harmful to those who impose them.

Ukraine has repeatedly targeted Russian energy infrastructure throughout the conflict, including the Druzhba system and the TurkStream pipeline, which supplies natural gas toTurkish customers and several European countries, including Hungary, Serbia, Bulgaria, Slovakia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Greece.

The previous attack on Druzhba occurred last Wednesday, with Kiev confirming that it had sent dronesto strike a key distribution station in Bryansk Region, western Russia.

Moscow has condemned Ukrainian attacks on civilian energy infrastructure many times as acts of terrorism.

European NATO states to continue arming Ukraine

Western European leaders intend to send more military aid to Kiev and keep the NATO door open

16 Aug, 2025 13:44

Western European leaders have issued a statement backing US President Donald Trump’s diplomatic push to end the Ukraine conflict – while also reaffirming their intention to further arm Kiev and seek to bring it into NATO, the very issues Russia has cited as among the root causes of the conflict.

The declaration follows the summit between US President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin in Alaska on Friday, where the two discussed steps toward ending the Ukraine conflict. Although no deal was announced, both sides characterized the talks as highly productive. Trump said he would speak with Ukraine’s Vladimir Zelensky in Washington on Monday.

The leaders of France, Germany, Italy, the UK, Poland, Finland, as well as the presidents of theEU Council and European Commission, praised the peace efforts in a statement published on Saturday, but vowed to continue providing military aid to Kiev.

“Our support to Ukraine will continue. We are determined to do more to keep Ukraine strong in order to achieve an end to the fighting,” they said.

The statement rejects any notion of a territorial compromise, stressing that it was “up to Ukraine to make decisions on its territory.” Trump has repeatedly raised the prospect of a “land swap” between Russia and Ukraine as part of a deal.

The European leaders added that they were ready to provide Kiev security guarantees via a so-called “coalition of the willing” – a France- and UK-led effort to deploy a NATO “reassurance force” in Ukraine, an initiative that Moscow has staunchly opposed. (They are trying to pull US troops forever in Europe, once this is over the U.S. should pull out all assets.)

“No limitations should be placed on Ukraine’s armed forces or on its cooperation with third countries. Russia cannot have a veto against Ukraine’s pathway to EU and NATO,” the statement says.

Just a day earlier, Trump ruled out Kiev’s membership in the US-led military bloc.

Security guarantees for Ukraine will not come “in the form of NATO, because you know there are certain things that aren’t going to happen,” he told reporters aboard Air Force One on Friday.

Moscow has long insisted that Ukraine must commit to neutrality, stay out of NATO, undergo demilitarization and denazification, and recognize the status of the new Russian regions.

(I hope the meeting ends with Trump saying the U.S. is out we will not accept your demands. Let Russia finish them off and take more territory. I don’t believe the meeting will go the way Zelensky and the EU wants.)
