Pam Bondi: 32 letters to mayors, 7 to governors — comply with ICE or Trump will federalize your city like DC

“Washington, DC had the fourth highest homicide rate in the country right here in the Capitol, six times higher than where you are right now in New York City, higher than Chicago, higher than other major cities.”

“If they don't comply… we're going to work with our other agencies to cut off their federal funding. We are going to send in law enforcement.”

Todays deltas numbers 4623 and 4624 are about Water Island next to Little Saint James, James Biden and his connection to Scott Green the founder of the Lafayette Group. I find this connection to Ryan Macias very interesting.

James Biden's high school buddy just happens to have a strong connection to an election security expert. Like signs his paycheck kind of connection.

Nevada’s AG Says Pam Bondi Is OUTRAGED After Israel’s Top Cyber Chief Fled the U.S. Without Surrendering His Passport Following Arrest for Luring a Minor Online: “He Must Be Returned Immediately to Face Justice”

by Jim Hᴏft Aug. 19, 2025 8:15 am

On Monday night, Sigal Chattah, U.S. Attorney for the District of Nevada, sounded the alarm after a shocking betrayal of justice allowed an alleged child molester to escape accountability, which “outraged” U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi.

The Gateway Pundit reported Monday that Tom Artiom Alexandrovich, head of the Technological Defense Division at the Israel National Cyber Directorate, was arrested in Las Vegas on suspicion of attempting to lure minors for sexual purposes.

According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, Alexandrovich was caught attempting to solicit sex from a minor electronically during a multi-agency sting operation targeting child predators.

He was booked into the Henderson Detention Center and shockingly released by a Nevada state judge on a measly $10,000 bail, without requiring him to surrender his passport.

The Nevada Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force confirmed the bust was part of a multi-agency operation that included LVMPD, FBI’s Child Exploitation Task Force, Homeland Security Investigations, Henderson Police, North Las Vegas Police, and the Nevada Attorney General’s Office.

In total, eight predators were arrested:

David Wonnacott-Yahnke, 40

Tom Artiom Alexandrovich, 38

Jose Alberto Perez-Torres, 35

Aniket Brajeshkumar Sadani, 23

James Ramon Reddick, 23

Ramon Manuel Parra Valenzuela, 29

Neal Harrison Creecy, 46

John Charles Duncan, 49

All face felony charges of Luring a Child with a Computer for Sex Act.

https://justthenews.com/nation/economy/sp-affirms-credit-rating-approves-trumps-tariffs-balance-tax-cuts

US economy maintains its high S&P credit rating, analysts find Trump tariffs offset his tax cuts

The U.S. economy is keeping its AA++ S&P Global Ratings, with the analytic firm finding President Trump's tariffs will help soften the economic impact of his tax cuts.

The U.S. economy has had that score since 2011, when Standard and Poor's downgraded the world’s largest economy from AAA, Bloomberg News reported Tuesday.

“Amid the rise in effective tariff rates, we expect meaningful tariff revenue to generally offset weaker fiscal outcomes that might otherwise be associated with the recent fiscal legislation, which contains both cuts and increases in tax and spending,” analysts wrote in a report.

When Trump began to rolling out his tariff-increase plan in February on U.S. trading partners, many economists predicted the U.S. economy and global financial markets would tumble.

S&P also projects the country's fiscal deficit won't deteriorate over the next several years, but it won't meaningfully improve either. The firm expects net general government debt to surpass 100% of U.S. GDP over the next three years, but it believes the general government deficit will average 6% from 2025 to 2028, down from 7.5% last year.

Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent has said tariff revenues for this year could be “well in excess of 1% of GDP,” revising his previous estimate of $300 billion. The Congressional Budget Office estimates the recently passed budget law will add $3.4 trillion to the deficit over the next decade.

Poll: Trump Approval Surges to 54 Percent After Meeting with Putin

An InsiderAdvantage survey conducted over the weekend found that Trump “now has an advantage among every age group other than the most senior of voters,” and improved his numbers among black (23.7) and Hispanic voters (47.2). White voters are at a near-record high approval with 64 percent.

Over half of independents (50.4) are approving of Trump, while the vast majority of Republicans (92) and 17.9 percent of Democrats said the same.

WATCH — President Trump and Vladimir Putin Meet in Alaska for Peace Summit:

The poll found that 44 percent of voters disapprove of Trump, giving him a net +10 percent approval rating.

The publication’s last poll conducted in July found Trump to have 50 percent approval, with 48 percent disapproving, for a net +2 percent rating.

“Only the nation’s oldest voters disapprove of his job performance, which is consistent with our prior surveys,” pollster Matt Towery said Monday. “Overall, his approval numbers are surging upwards post-summit.”

Trump said his meeting with Putin resulted in “great progress,” and the Russian leader said his war with Ukraine would have never begun if Trump was president in 2022 instead of Joe Biden.

Marine Insurers Urged to Address Modern Slavery Risks in Global Maritime Supply Chains

Mike Schuler August 19, 2025

The International Union of Marine Insurance (IUMI) has called for marine insurers to heighten their awareness of modern slavery and forced labor risks throughout maritime and global supply chains amid increasing regulatory scrutiny.

In a newly published Information Paper, IUMI highlights the growing reputational and legal risks facing insurers who underwrite operations connected to exploitative labor practices. The organization emphasizes that while insurers aren’t directly involved in operational abuses, they may inadvertently enable unethical practices through insufficient due diligence.

“Modern slavery is impacting an estimated 28 million people,” said Lars Lange, IUMI Secretary General. “Marine insurers must be aware of the potential consequences of insuring unethical clients and consider integrating ethical underwriting practices to support responsible business.”

The IUMI paper identifies several high-risk sectors with connections to marine insurance, including distant-water fishing, garment production, and the maritime industry itself. According to the report, the maritime sector continues to face significant challenges, with the International Maritime Organization recording a record number of seafarer abandonment cases in 2024.

IUMI recommends that marine insurers conduct robust due diligence during underwriting processes, implement clear ESG policies addressing human rights, and collaborate with stakeholders to improve transparency in maritime supply chains.

“Insurers are one step removed from these operations and it is important to acknowledge that they often face practical limitations in detecting these abuses given their indirect role and the complexity of global supply chains,” Lange noted. “However, as far as possible, marine insurers should take a proactive stance – not just to protect reputations, but also to align the insurance industry with global human rights standards.”

The paper comes as legislative measures like the EU Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive and the UK Modern Slavery Act increasingly hold companies and their financial partners accountable for human rights abuses in their supply chains.

Trump’s drone deal with Ukraine is a path to US military reindustrialization

08/19/25 12:00 PM ET

President Trump has long promised to deliver better deals — ones that put American interests, industry and strength first.

Coming on the heels of his Alaska meeting with Vladimir Putin, a historic drone megadeal between the U.S. and Ukraine — reportedly valued between $10 billion and $30 billion — offers Trump the chance to pressure Moscow while securing a deal that advances U.S. strategic interests.

This deal isn’t just a defense contract. It is a strategic bridge between America’s current industrial limitations and the wartime production capacity the we need to deter future conflict.

It is also a warning shot to China that the U.S. is getting serious about scaling military drone innovation at speed and cost.

America’s unmanned drone arsenal is not ready for a prolonged fight in the Indo-Pacific.

Despite advances in AI and autonomous systems, we face a dangerous gap — we lack the industrial base to produce the volume of smart, expendable and networked uncrewed systems required for high-intensity, multi-domain conflict.

That’s where this deal comes in. America’s industrial base needs time to build factories, establish supply chains that are compliant with Pentagon rules and iterate on product designs to deliver the necessary unmanned systems needed for a fight in the Indo-Pacific.

Ukraine, out of sheer necessity, has become the world’s most advanced proving ground and manufacturer for uncrewed military systems.

In 2024 alone, it produced over 1.7 million drones — fielded, iterated and improved in combat conditions that mirror the future of warfare far more closely than American test ranges in Hawaii or Arizona ever could.

From low-cost first-person vehicles to strategic sea drones and long-range deep-strike capabilities, Ukrainian engineers have led the charge for uncrewed systems and what Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth rightly called “the biggest battlefield innovation in a generation.”

The U.S. shouldn’t try to reinvent the wheel. Instead, we should springboard off Ukraine’s hard-earned experience to accelerate our own industrial and technological transformation.

(Full disclosure: My firm does consulting work in Ukraine, but I have no financial ties to Ukrainian drone companies.)

This deal offers three critical advantages.

First, it is a strategic bridge to reindustrialization. Building a new defense industrial base in America will take years, if not decades. The Ukrainian drone deal buys us time, capability and breathing room.

It delivers operationally relevant drones at scale today, while we rebuild factories, train workers and realign acquisition models to fit a 21st-century fight. It’s not a handout — it’s a hedge against our current vulnerabilities.

Second, the operational gains generated by this deal will have applicability in a potential war in the Pacific.

Ukraine’s drones, as successful as they have been in trench warfare, won’t map one-to-one to a theater characterized by vast maritime distances and denied environments.

But Ukraine’s deep-strike and naval drone programs — already disrupting Russia’s dominance in the Black Sea — have direct applications for U.S. Indo-Pacific Command.

cont.

If Trump leans in, he won’t just be supporting Ukraine.

He’ll lay the groundwork for America’s reindustrialization, reshaping deterrence in the Pacific and putting the U.S. back in command of the battlefield technologies of tomorrow.

The deal is on the table. The question is, will he seize it?

US urging IDF pullout from Lebanon, despite Hezbollah threats

August 19, 2025

A senior Trump administration official said Monday that the Israeli military will withdraw from several strategic points in southern Lebanon in the near future, following a decree by the Lebanese government demanding that Hezbollah disarm.

“I think the Lebanese government has done their part. They’ve taken the first step. Now what we need is Israel to comply,” U.S. envoy Tom Barrack said after meeting with Lebanese President Joseph Aoun in Beirut.

Barrack, however, did not address Hezbollah’s outright rejection of the Lebanese government decree and its threat to launch a civil war if forced to disarm.

Instead, Barrack told reporters that “the next step” is for the IDF to withdraw from Lebanese territory, adding that the U.S. would support “an economic plan for prosperity, restoration and renovation” in Lebanon.

He also said the Trump administration is “in the process of now discussing with Israel what their position is” on the withdrawal, pledging that “in the next few weeks you’re going to see progress on all sides.”

Shortly after the October 7th Hamas massacres, Hezbollah launched near-daily rocket, missile, and drone attacks against Israeli civilian communities and military positions.

The pronged attacks forced the evacuation of tens of thousands of northern Israeli residents, many of whom were displaced for more than a year.

After nearly twelve months of unrelenting bombardment, Israel carried out a surprise strike against Hezbollah, famously detonating pagers owned by members of the terror group, launching widespread strikes against its infrastructure, and culminating in the assassination of Hezbollah chief Hassan Nasrallah.

During the conflict, Israeli troops were stationed at several strategic positions inside southern Lebanon to deter Hezbollah from launching a ground invasion into northern Israel.

IDF soldiers have remained there since a November 2024 truce, with Jerusalem insisting it will not withdraw until Hezbollah no longer poses a security threat to Israel.

In early August, the Lebanese parliament passed a resolution demanding that Hezbollah disarm. The decree was swiftly rejected by the Iranian-backed terror group.

Israel has not committed to any timetable for a withdrawal from the region.

We are not going to allow this to happen, and I have instructed my attorneys to go through the Museums, and start the exact same process that has been done with Colleges and Universities where tremendous progress has been made. This Country cannot be WOKE, because WOKE IS BROKE. We have the “HOTTEST” Country in the World, and we want people to talk about it, including in our Museums.

Japan defense minister visits Turkey for talks on drone cooperation

August 19, 2025

Japanese Defense Minister Gen Nakatani had talks in Turkey on Tuesday on defense industry cooperation, including the possible supply of Turkish-made drones, Reuters reported.

Nakatani, the first Japanese defense minister to pay an official visit to Turkey, met with Defense Minister Yaşar Güler in Ankara, where the two discussed defense equipment and technology and exchanged views on regional security, according to a diplomatic source cited by Reuters. T

The source said the talks also aimed at increasing contact between the Turkish Armed Forces and Japan’s Self-Defense Forces at the unit level.

The visit includes stops at Turkish defense contractors and facilities in Ankara and Istanbul, including Turkish Aerospace Industries, navy shipyards and Baykar, the maker of the Bayraktar line of unmanned aerial vehicles.

A Turkish Defense Ministry source told Reuters that inspections of drones are on the agenda but no agreement is expected at this stage.

“It is too early for an agreement,” the source said. Turkey has supplied drones to a number of countries, including Ukraine.

Japan is evaluating options as it expands the use of unmanned aerial vehicles across its ground, air and naval forces, and Turkish drones are among the systems under consideration, Reuters said.

Both Turkey and Japan condemned Russia’s 2022 invasion of Ukraine. While Japan joined Western sanctions, Turkey maintained economic ties with Moscow.

Nakatani’s trip to Turkey is part of a regional tour from August 17 to 22 that also includes Djibouti and Jordan, according to Reuters.

Fort Rucker launches its first-ever advanced drone training course

Aug 19, 2025, 08:30 AM

In the shifting landscape of warfare, Fort Rucker, Alabama, is working to adapt, and quickly — with the Army’s Aviation Center of Excellence recently launching its first Unmanned Advanced Lethality Course.

“This is the first time the Army has done this in a TRADOC setting, coordinating between three difference COEs,” Maj. Wolf Amacker, the chief of the AVCOE Directorate of Training and Doctrine UAS and Tactics Branch, said in an Army release.

“We’re helping to train the most people, the quickest, on FPV systems that are having a real impact on the battlefield.

The first of its kind for the center, the course is designed to create a foundational standard for drone employment.

The focus, according to the release, will be on how small drones are used in reconnaissance, fires and maneuver operations.

At the center, students go back to basics and begin the course in the classroom.

Logging 20 to 25 hours of simulator time, students learn how to utilize commercial drones and simulation software.

From there, they transition to live flight exercises in a military urban terrain site.

In addition to the live flight exercises, Fires Center personnel teach students how to adjust fire using drone feeds.

“An 11B [infantryman], 13F [fire support specialist] out there with a SUAS calling for fire and adjusting based on drone video is a relevant skill for the current and future battlefield,” Amacker said.

“This may be the first time our students are introduced and trained to do that.”

Twenty-eight students from various job specialties — including infantry, cavalry scouts, 15W and 15E aviation personnel and warrant officers from the 150U career field — were selected for the three-week course.

The kicker? The program was built from scratch just 90 days ago by Capt. Rachel Martin, who is now the course director.

Potential adoption of the course is being considered from both the Maneuver and Fires Centers of Excellence, with the overall goal of the course being to provide a unit a way to create their own basic qualification programs.

Fort Rucker would then become the hub for advanced drone training.

The course is designed as both a resident program and eventually a mobile training package that will allow units ways to conduct FPV drone training independently.

According to the release, “the long-term vision for the course aligns with Fort Rucker’s broader innovation goals.

Martin hopes to integrate the program with the post’s emerging innovation lab, creating a collaborative hub for data sharing and tactical experimentation.”

“This course is a catch-up,” said Martin. “We’re behind globally, and this is our aggressive attempt to close that gap.”
