I want to quickly outline the board as I see it from my perspective, to attempt to help those who are confused to regain focus.

Essentially we have approached the limits of our technological abilities without radically altering the world to a state inhospitable to ordinary human life. What this means in practical terms is that technological superiority is becoming less and less effective as time goes on. This means that any bad actors who previously enjoyed safety under such systems are becoming increasingly exposed, and increasingly desperate, as they actually make up a tiny percentage of the total population (I've heard estimates from 4%-6%). Their largest play was to divide the generally good natured members of the population and set them against each other, to hide in the chaos and 'escape' into either camp. I anticipated and intercepted this attempt, but they're not done by a long shot.

Right now anyone who is struggling to find ways to contribute in a positive way ought to seek out community building opportunities in their home communities. There is lots of other important work to do for those who still want to dive right in, but make sure you're engaging at a level which is appropriate for your abilities. Helping to keep the house clean, helps lionize those who are taking on greater challenges.

Modern science's opinion on how the mind works is all kinds of messed up. That one particular point is perhaps the most significant reason I recognized what was happening. I started trying to "think without words" at a young age when I realized we must have still thought before we created language, and found a lot of potential in there that's been relegated to mystery and superstition. The more rigid we make our physical world, the more of our mind we 'wall off' by eliminating opportunities to utilize it.

Oh, no, that's exactly the point of this. The problem with communication is that people find it very difficult to understand things they haven't already experienced. Before it becomes possible for the general public to understand any explanations, they have to actually see it themselves.
