As the fight over redistricting heats up, lawmakers in Sacramento held their first public hearing Tuesday on newly-proposed gerrymandered Congressional maps that they hope voters will approve in November. Meanwhile, California Republicans filed an emergency petition with the State Supreme Court to delay key votes on the measure until a full review period is complete.
