Job sites: I mentioned that most sites are now a list of jobs in an infinite scroll on the left, that when clicked puts the job description on a right pane taking up the other 80% of the screen. Jobs used to be in table format where you can page through result sets. Why do they do this?

  1. Everyone applies to the first page or so of fake jobs.

  2. You cannot properly track anything, what you sent, what you were interested in, but must scroll the left pane and try to find the right job that may or may not be there tomorrow, leaving you scrolling for a long time before you give up.

  3. These jobs are formatted like this because in reality they are designed to waste your time. Then you have to go through the same Indian recruiter bullshit, speak to their implementation partners, take their rigged tests, meet and greet and explain your resume to novices, then if you pass all that, then you get to speak with the Christmas party girl. If you pass her test of why do you want to work here and where do you see yourself in 5 years without getting you are not a cultural fit in a no reply email, then you get to speak with the Cabal hiring manager. Even if you pass that, you will either get a manager who is always on vacation or the project has been defunded.

Q Team: Setup a sting and start arresting these people already.
