Trump calls for criminal prosecution of Soros

The US president has accused the billionaire of trying to “rip apart” America by supporting violent protests and via other means

US President DonaldTrump has called for criminal charges to be brought against billionaire George Soros as well as his son for causing “great damage.” The Hungarian-American investor has long supported various civil movements through his NGOs and has repeatedly been linked to protests throughout the US and in other countries.

In a post on his Truth Social account on Wednesday, Trump claimedthat George Soros and his son, Alexander Soros, should be prosecuted under the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO), a US federal law typically used to charge members of criminal groups.

Trump argued that the Soros family’s support for “violent protests” and other actionsacross the US amounted to grounds for such charges, and declared that the billionaire would no longer be allowed to “rip apart America.”

He added thatthe speculator and his “group of psychopaths” and “crazy, west coast friends” had caused “great damage” to the US.

While Trump did not specify which “violent protests” he was referring to, his remarks have come in the wake of large-scale demonstrations this summer.

In June, protests against federal immigration raids in Los Angeles escalated into rioting, looting, and arson, along with clashes with police, leading to hundreds of arrests and the deployment of thousands of National Guard troops.

Soros’ Open Society Foundations (OSF) has also provided funding to civil rights and activist groups across the US,including organizations involved in Black Lives Matter and other protest movements, some of which have been linked to violence.

Soros’s name has also recently resurfaced in connection with the 2016 “Russiagate” smear campaign. Earlier this month, the US Senate Judiciary Committee released a report alleging that OSF had links to the Clinton campaign’s efforts to promote the debunked claims of collusion between Trump and Russia.

I’ve been wondering why Soros wasn’t arrested or charged years ago, but Benz said they worked on projects for the Department of State, so they got a pass with a lot of others, who are bad for America.

Venezuela accuses US of nuclear violation

Caracas has appealed to the UN following Washington’s deployment of warships and a submarine to the Caribbean

Venezuela on Monday accused the US of violating a regional nuclear ban, and urged the United Nations to act after American warships and a naval submarine were deployed to the Caribbean.

The move comesafter Washington last week sent three warships and 4,000 Marines toward Venezuelain what the White House described as part of a broader campaign against drug trafficking groups in Latin America.According to media reports, US President Donald Trump has since deployed two additional vessels: the guided-missile cruiser USS Erie and the nuclear-powered attack submarine USS Newport News, expected to arrive next week.

In response, Venezuela has deployed warships and drones to patrol its coastline.

Venezuelan Foreign Minister Yvan Gil Pinto said he has written to UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, urging him “to restore common sense”and denouncing what he called the placement of US troops and nuclear weapons in the Caribbean basin.

He said the deployments breached the Treaty of Tlatelolco, which prohibits nuclear arms in Latin America and the Caribbean. Gil dismissed Washington’s justification that the buildup was aimed at combating narcotics, stressing that Venezuela is a “territory free of illicit crops.”

On Tuesday, Gil met with UN Resident Coordinator in Venezuela Gianluca Rampolla, and voiced his concern over the recent US military presence in the Caribbean, including the submarine deployment.

“We discussed the threats from the United States facing the region, which was declared a Zone of Peace in 2014 by CELAC, a recognition ratified by the United Nations,” he said in a Telegram post.

The Venezuelan government has branded the US deployments “hostile”and destabilizing, underscoring already strained ties between Caracas and Washington.

Last month,Washington designated Venezuela-based Cartel de los Soles a criminal organization, alleging it is led by Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro and senior officials.

Maduro, who was indicted on US drug charges in 2020, has rejected the claims as politically motivated. Bolivian President Luis Arce last week accused Washington of using the war on drugs as a pretext for regional domination, and denounced the Caribbean buildup as an attempt to assert control over Latin America.

(KEK like the UN can do anything about it, they do much worse things in foreign countries than what Trump is doing.)

“Lefties losing it” points out a serious mental disorder of these people; they are not only delusional but these Trump haters are complaining about the President making life better for citizens.

This points out, one dramatic belief, affliction and mental defect. They are basically telling the world, “the people”, (you know not the rich elites that get away with murder), don’t deserve protection and a thriving community in America”. These people are not only Anti Trump, they are Anti American towards citizens and they could give a fuck about those suffering under a crime ridden nation.

I suggest that Trump and Congress pass a lawthat anyone of these elite goons are automatically sent to whatever country they want on the planet for life and are never allowed to enter America again, even if they get their minds straight.

Let’s see how they like that! Or maybe send them to Europe because they are third world countries now, except for a few. France sounds good, so they can be attacked by Muslims daily.

I bet people like Baldwin, are waking up some of their friends, who are recognizing how truly evil they are. Even people who don’t support Trump like what he’s doing on cleaning up states.

One more thing, these idiots have been dumping lies with the same script on Trump for 10+ years and don’t understandhe’s only getting stronger and more people are supporting him. Proving they can never learn a lesson!

You’d think they would have changed their strategy by now, but they won’t because they don’t understand they will always lose, because they are narcissists and hate the regular citizen.

PHOTO: Horrifying Contraband; Primate And Rodent Meat Seized By Customs

U.S. Customs and Border Protection officersintercepted two separate shipments of bushmeatat Detroit Metropolitan Airport last month, including one haul of primate meat, in seizures officials say highlight the dangers of disease entering the United States.

Bushmeat—defined by U.S. health agencies as meat from wild animals such as bats, monkeys, and cane rats—is illegal to import into the country.

CBPOps and DFODetroit announced the discoveries Saturday in a joint post on Instagram, writing, “Scary!!! @DFODetroit CBP agriculture specialists intercepted back-to-back bushmeat at @DTWShots. Bushmeat poses serious risks to public health and violates federal regulations. CBP remains vigilant in protecting our borders and communities. #OFOProud🇺🇸 #CBP #OFO #ProtectingAgriculture #NationalSecurity.”

According to a press release issued August 20, CBP agriculture specialists discovered 11 pounds of rodent meat from Togoin one baggage examinationand 52 pounds of primate meat—declared as antelope—days later in luggage arriving from Gabon. Both travelers also carried undeclared agricultural items. The seized meat was turned over to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and each passenger was fined $300 for failing to declare it.

“These recent bushmeat interceptions are significant in bringing attention to the illegal importation of bushmeat through our ports of entry,” Port Director Fadia Pastilong said in the statement. “This also showcases how we work with our partner agencies to prevent a potential disease outbreak.”

A 2024 entry on the CDC website warns that bushmeat can carry pathogens, including orthoebolaviruses, the family of viruses that cause Ebola. Importing any amount of bushmeat can result in seizure and fines of up to $250,000. While the CDC notes there have been no reported cases of Americans contracting disease from confiscated bushmeat, it stresses that the risk is serious.

Researchers have long pointed to the dangers. A 2019 Penn State report found that bushmeat samples from the Serengeticontained bacteria linked to anthrax, brucellosis, and Q fever.

The International Fund for Animal Welfare said in 2022 that demand forbushmeat in cities and abroad, including in Europe and North America, fuels a global industry and threatens bothbiodiversity and human health. The group cited estimates that five tons of wild animal meat== are smuggled through Paris’s Charles de Gaulle Airport each week.

Nevertheless, bushmeat is an essential element of West African diets. One study estimated that in some regions, bushmeat constitutes 80–90% of animal protein intake.

CBP officials in Detroit said that while rodent-type bushmeat is intercepted sporadically, primate meat seizures are rare. They cautioned that consumption of bushmeat in parts of Africa, where it is sometimes eaten raw or minimally processed, heightens therisk of diseases like Ebola and mpox spreading to new populations.

“We routinely find various agriculture items and oddities—live giant snails, animal skulls, and exotic food items—but most times it’s not a malicious act,” said Director of Field Operations Marty C. Raybon. “Despite this, it’s our duty to protect the homeland and preventing certain food and animal products from entering the U.S. is essential to public health.”

'Not Economically Viable': Porsche Cancels Plans For In-House Battery Production

The great consolidation is coming for smaller battery makers. Porsche is its latest victim.

Aug 25,

Porsche will no longer pursue plans to make its own high-performance battery cells, calling the pursuit "not economically viable."

The carmaker said slower demand for EVs in the U.S. was part of the reason why it shelved its battery plans.

Porsche's battery division, Cellforce, will shift focus to R&D instead.

Porsche is abandoning plans to make its own high-performance electric vehicle batteries due to slower-than-expected demand for EVs and "challenging conditions" in the U.S. and China.

On Monday, the company announced that its battery division, Cellforce, will scale down operations and shift focus to cell research and development. Battery production is brutally expensive, requiring billions of dollars in upfront investment and scale that’s tough to achieve. And Porsche said it no longer saw a viable path forward for producing its own cells, given the pace at which the EV market is developing.

"For volume reasons and a lack of economies of scale,Porsche is no longer pursuing its own production of battery cells," Oliver Blume, CEO of both Porsche and its parent company, the Volkswagen Group, said in a statement.

Turkey continues to convert historic sites to mosques as part of Islamization campaign

August 25, 2025

The Islamist regime of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan continues to convert historic museums into mosques as part of his government’s campaign to appease the Islamist and nationalist base upon which he draws his most loyal support during elections.

The latest example in this series of conversions is the Kariye Museum, also known as the Chora Church. A legal challenge aimed at halting the government’s move has failed — unsurprising given that Turkey’s judiciary is almost entirely dominated by Erdogan’s ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP) and its far-right ally, the Nationalist Movement Party (MHP).

On November 25, 2024, Turkey’s Council of State (Danıştay), the country’s top administrative court, rejected a lawsuit seeking to overturn the government’s 2020 decision to reconvert Istanbul’s historic Kariye Museum into a mosque, thereby clearing the way for the site’s continued management by the government’s religious authority, the Directorate of Religious Affairs (Diyanet).

The ruling, delivered unanimously by the 10th Chamber of the Council of State on November 25, 2024, dismissed both procedural and substantive claims brought by a group of plaintiffs that included Turkish citizens as well as several foreign academics specializing in Byzantine history and Christian heritage.

Originally built as the Byzantine-era Chora Monastery in the 11th century, the building was converted into a mosque after the Ottoman conquest of Constantinople and functioned as such until the mid-20th century. In 1945 a Cabinet decree transferred the site to the Ministry of Education for use as a museum, which formally opened in 1958 after extensive restorations financed by the Dumbarton Oaks Center for Byzantine Studies in Washington, D.C.

Turkey’s top administrative court, the Council of State (Danıştay), rejected a lawsuit filed by a group of plaintiffs seeking to preserve the Kariye Museum’s status and prevent its conversion into a mosque:

However, in 2019 the Council of State — apparently acting under political directives from Erdogan’s government — annulled the 1945 Cabinet decision, ruling that the site, classified as a vakıf hayrat (endowment property), could not legally be designated for purposes other than those originally intended by its foundation.

Following that judgment, Erdogan issued a decree in August 2020 transferring the building to the Diyanet and reopening it for Muslim worship.

The lawsuit was filed by a diverse group of eight individuals. Among them was Ioli Kalavrezou, a US citizen and Harvard University professor of Byzantine art and culture affiliated with the Dumbarton Oaks Center for Byzantine Studies. She argued that the decision restricted her academic and cultural rights, given her long-standing research on the Kariye’s mosaics and frescoes.

Also among the plaintiffs was a British citizen and member of the Orthodox Christian community who claimed that the reconversion undermined his right to freely access and study Orthodox religious heritage in Istanbul, the historical center of Eastern Orthodoxy.

A Greek citizen, born in Istanbul and educated in the city’s minority schools until the age of 14, also joined the case. He described himself as a former member of the local Greek Orthodox community and argued that his personal and cultural ties to Istanbul’s religious monuments entitled him to challenge the decree…

The Kariye Museum was reconverted into a mosque in an inauguration ceremony led by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on May 6, 2024.

An Italian citizen, a Catholic theologian and professor of Christian history at the University of Modena-Reggio Emilia, also participated as a plaintiff. He serves as director of the Giovanni XXIII Theological Institute in Bologna and holds the UNESCO Chair on Religious Pluralism and Peace. He argued that restricting the site’s museum status reduced its universal accessibility as a Christian and Byzantine heritage monument.

In addition, four Turkish citizens joined the case, including individuals of the Greek Orthodox faith. They contended that the Kariye Museum represented shared cultural heritage for Turkish society as a whole and that its conversion into a mosque undermined its role as a center for intercultural dialogue, tourism and education.

(Erdogan has promised for years to turn the whole into Islam beliefs, he will do if he gets his way. He truly is an evil man)

Throughout his journey, Bajwa said, he learned the importance of self-reflection. “You have to be humble, because the day you start thinking you got it all, I believe your downfall will start.”

In 2024, Bajco Group signed an agreement with Papa Johns International to develop 50 new restaurants by 2028. Bajwa said his goal is to get to 500 restaurant locations. With the growth of his Papa Johns portfolio over the years, Bajwa has also built adjacent businesses.

“We’ve developed a call center, construction arm, offshore accounting setup, and technology arm to bring [efficiencies] to our Papa Johns portfolio, which now have become separate businesses & serve multiple clients within and outside the Papa Johns brand,” he said.

I never dreamt of this growth. [I just focused on] doing my best … and learning from my mistakes … and the rest just came,” Bajwa said. “So everything started with delivery pizza. Can you believe that?”

Denmark apologizes to Greenlanders over birth control experiment

Danish doctors inserted contraceptive devices into thousands of women without their knowledge

Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen has issued an apology for an enforced contraception campaign aimed at regulating the birth rate in Greenland. The controversial program saw thousands of young Greenlandic women and girls fitted with intrauterine devices (IUDs), often without their knowledge or consent.

The practice took place mainly in the 1960s and 1970s, while Greenland’s healthcare system was still under Danish control, and remained largely unknown until 2022. That year, the podcast Spiralkampagnen (The Spiral Campaign) by the Danish Broadcasting Corporation uncovered records showing that up to 4,500 women and girls had IUDs inserted without informed consent.

Some women received the devices after childbirth without being told, while in other cases the language barrier reportedly kept them from understanding the procedure. The revelations sparked public outrage and renewed calls for accountability.

“We acknowledge that the spiral case is a source of both anger and sorrow for many Greenlanders and many families in Greenland,” Frederiksen said on Wednesday. “We cannot change what has happened. But we can take responsibility. Therefore, on behalf of Denmark, I would like to say: I’m sorry.”

The prime minister referredto “the girls and women who were subjected to systematic discrimination” simply because “they are Greenlanders,”offering an apology “for the physical and psychological harm they have suffered, for being let down.”

Frederiksen pledged that discussions with Greenland’s government would continue following the release of a full investigation, including questions of possible financial compensation to the women affected.

An independent inquiry into the scandal is ongoing, with its findings expected to be released in September 2025.

In 2024, a group of 143 women, now in their 70s and 80s, filed a lawsuit against Denmark’s Ministry of the Interior and Health over the forced contraception procedures. They are seeking a total of nearly 43 million kroner (approximately $6.3 million) in compensation, according to their lawyer.

Denmark offered public apologies in 2022 to the victims of a 1950s experiment in which children from Greenland were taken to Denmark.

US energy giant ‘in secret talks’ to return to Russia – WSJ

President Vladimir Putin allowed ExxonMobil to reclaim its stake in a Far Eastern enterprise ahead of his recent meeting with Donald Trump

US energy giant ‘in secret talks’ to return to Russia – WSJ

US energy giant ExxonMobil is considering the possibility of returning to Russia, the Wall Street Journal has reported, citing people familiar with the discussions. The company, along with many other Western businesses, withdrew from the country following the escalation of the Ukraine conflict in 2022.

Earlier this month, Russian President Vladimir Putin allowed the energy giant reclaim its stake in the Sakhalin-1 oil and gas enterprise in the Russian Far East. The order coincided with Putin’s meeting with his US counterpart, Donald Trump, in Alaska.

Both sides described the summit as a significant step toward peace between Russia and Ukraine, noting that they also discussed potential economic cooperation between Moscow and Washington.

Senior executives at ExxonMobil have reportedly held secret talks throughout the conflict with Russia’s largest state energy company, Rosneft, on rejoining the Sakhalin project should it be approved by Moscow and Washington.

Senior Vice President Neil Chapman has met with Rosneft CEO Igor Sechin, who is currently under US blocking sanctions, in the Qatari capital Doha, the sources said.

The news outlet noted, however, that a return remains uncertain and depends in part on whether Trump can broker a resolution to the conflict or, alternatively, increase sanctions pressure on Moscow if the hostilities continue.

People familiar with the matter also said Exxon’s potential return to Sakhalin-1 will likely depend on the terms offered by the Russian government. The company is primarily seeking to recover financial losses it incurred after leaving the project in 2022, they added.

As Sakhalin-1 majority shareholder Rosneft is reportedly open to restoring Exxon’s participation, viewing the US firm’s capital, technology, and managerial expertise as potential assets to the mega-project.

ExxonMobil's 30% stake in Sakhalin-1 was transferred to a Rosneft subsidiary, Sakhalinmorneftegaz-Shelf.

Japanese consortium Sodeco retained a 30% stake despite international pressure, while India’s state-owned ONGC Videsh remained the holder of a 20% share.
