Understand the implications of this paper. This is very good research science and very good news for the human species…likely anything with a brain. link below

Alzheimer's Disease appears to be a low level lithium (trace mineral) deficiency. This correlation was investigated and appears to be causitive. Lithium at very low doses prevents, stops, and reverses the damage.

Not just any lithium, but a cheap organic form commonly available as a supplement: Lithium Orotate. Other forms appear to be sequestered by the amyloid plaques and unavailable for the brain, but lithium orotate not only evades the amyloid, but markedly reduces it while restoring brain function.

Kind of a big deal. I've been studying medical research papers for 40 years or so, and this is one of the best and by a wide margin.

More studies are lined up for human validation, but epidemiological data already shows very low AD rates where lithium is elevated in the water, along with reduced suicide and violent crime rates.

This is not the massive doses of lithium carbonate for bipolar, but around 1,000X less as a non-toxic organic salt of lithium with many years of use as an OTC supplement. Therapeutic levels could cost around $40/yr/person.
