BREAKING: Boone County, Kentucky deputies responded to an active shooter situation in the Triple Crown subdivision near Union. According to officials, a wellness check escalated after the suspect allegedly fired shots at a landscaping crew. The incident sparked a massive SWAT response, with heavily armed officers surrounding the home. Gas canisters were deployed, and the suspect was eventually taken into custody after suffering a gunshot wound. He was airlifted to UC Medical Center in critical condition. Walton Kentucky
