South Korea’s Ruling Party Pushes “Special Court for Rebellion” – A Communist-Style Assault on Judicial Independence

Korea’s pro-China totalitarian leader met with President Trump this week at the White House.

President Donald Trump hosts a bilateral meeting with President Lee Jae-myung of the Republic of Korea, Monday, August 25, 2025, in the Oval Office.

On August 28, 2025, South Korea’s Democratic Party (DP) crossed a dangerous line. In response to the judiciary’s rejection of an arrest warrant for former Prime Minister Han Duck-soo, the DP not only condemned the courts but also moved to create a so-called “Special Court for Rebellion.”

This is not a normal judicial measure.It is an attempt to strip authority from ordinary courts and build a parallel tribunal designed to guarantee convictions. In reality, this amounts to the creation of a Communist-style pseudo-court—courts in appearance, but not in substance—serving as instruments of political repression.

Key developments on August 28:

** The DP’s emergency committee and hardliners denounced the judiciary’s decision as sending the “wrong signal” to so-called “rebellion forces.”

** Calls for a “Special Court for Rebellion” escalated from rhetoric to formal resolution and legislative planning. According to Yonhap News, theDP will present legislation to establish the tribunal as early as September 4.

**Senior DP lawmakers declared: “The ordinary judiciary cannot be trusted. A special panel is required to handle rebellion charges.”

On social media and in press briefings, DP figures demanded “swift reapplication of warrants”and labeled the judiciary’s independence as an obstacle to “ending rebellion.”

This is nothing less than a Stalinist tactic:

** Branding political opponents as “rebels” to justify extraordinary tribunals;

** Overriding the independent judiciary with a handpicked court loyal to the ruling party;

** Turning the language of law into a weapon for political purge.

The Communist People’s Courtsof the 20th century operated in precisely this way:they mimicked judicial formwhile serving as political tools.The Democratic Party is now attempting to reproduce this in South Korea.It is a direct assault on the separation of powers and the rule of law. (They are following China’s lead. There was a communist coup in SK last year, and the commies made up lies about his corruption, and they to accused and arrest the leader that was working with the Trump and the U.S. influence. China has invaded and controlled many countries in the SE Asia area to oppose Trump and America.)

This is not justice—it is judicial theater to consolidate authoritarian control.If unchecked, no opposition leader, dissident, or ordinary citizen will be safe from arbitrary prosecution.

We urge international observers, human rights organizations, and democratic allies to closely scrutinize these developments.A “Special Court for Rebellion” is wholly incompatiblewith democratic governance.It signals the transformation of South Korea’s judiciary into a party-controlled instrument.

St. Louis Man Who Gunned Down Police Officer Demond Taylor Is Released on $5,000 Bond

St. Louis officials charged46-year-old Brandon Levy with first degree murderin the shooting death of off-duty Police Officer Demond Taylor17 years ago in the Academy neighborhood in St. Louis. Taylor was gunned down when he was driving to pick up one of his sons along Page Boulevard.

Three witnesses identified Levy as the man who shot and killed Officer Levy.

FBI Special Agent Chris Crocker released a statement on X following the arrest of Levy this weekend.

The FBI had been working hand-in-hand with local St. Louis homicide detectives for years to solve the case.

Levy was later released on $5,000 bond for killing a St. Louis cop.

Authorities noted that officer Taylor would have turned 52 this past Sunday.

Levy was charged with one count of first-degree murder, but he has now been released, posting a $5,000 cash-only bond.

“After a confined docket hearing on August 25, 2025,Associate Circuit Judge Michael Colona modified the defendant’s bondto $50,000 cash-only, requiring 10 percent to be posted. The State requested that the bond conditions imposed on August 23, 2025, remain in place.The defendant posted bond, and the court released him under court-ordered conditions.

Associate Circuit Judge Michael Colona served as a Democrat in the Missouri legislature before his appointment to the Circuit Attorney’s office.

The Clock Ticks Down on an Army Black Hawk Pilot’s Two Decades of Military Service as Defense Department Inaction Ends His Career 1/2

Before the military imposed its 2021 COVID-19 shot requirement, Army Chief Warrant Officer 3 Brandon Budge had built an impeccable 18-year career flying Black Hawk helicopters.His trajectory changed dramatically when he refused the COVID shot on principle—a stance that now threatens to end his career.

In May, The Gateway Pundit wrote:

[CW3 Budge] was grounded for 18 months, unable to operate a Black Hawk. During this time, he was given a General Officer Memorandum of Reprimand (GOMOR), and as an act he considers reprisal,he was also forced to go through a Flying Evaluation Board. Though the FEB exonerated him of any wrongdoing,his command still issued a GOMORwhich eventually resulted in a loss of promotion status through a Special Selections Review Board. ‘

This entire debacle has cost my family nearly $40,000 in legal fees and nearly $40,000 in lost payon top of all the emotional and psychological stress,’ he lamented.

According to a subsequent report, Army Chief of Staff Gen. Randy George advised CW3 Budge to file with the Board for Correction of Military Records (BCMR), promising to resolve the situation.Despite this assurance and repeated appeals to Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth from journalist J.M. Phelpsand other concerned advocates,CW3 Budge faces retirement on October 6, 2025—the direct result of his stance against what the Defense Secretary himself has characterized as experimental and unlawful.

Why are CW3 Budge and his advocates being ignored?Rumors are beginning to circulate that his previous behavior and warranted actions taken against the shot during the COVID era might be the hidden reason his two-decade military career now hangs in the balance.

“Even as they tried to destroy my livelihood and my family, I couldn’t afford to be fearful during this time,” CW3 Budge admitted to The Gateway Pundit. “I did all I could to stand against the mandateand now I’m being held accountable for those actionswhich are forcing me out of the Army,” he lamented. “All the while, those that implemented it illegally are not being held accountable.”

“Nobody can pass judgment on a situation like I’ve gone through until they’ve stood in my shoes,” he shared. “I was expected to put everything aside, including my own health and the health of my family, while they used coercive tactics and isolation to attempt to silence me and get me to abide by their unlawful rules.”

CW3 Budge can only recall “raising [his] voice” once in this process. “Did I disobey an unlawful order and push back? Yes,” he admitted. “For it, I’m called unbecoming and unprofessional, [but] they wanted me to stay silent and give in, [and] that’s not my nature when you’re coming after me and my family,” he said.“Where’s the same level of professionalism they expected from me in those who treated us like criminals?”

According to retired U.S. Army Lt. Col. Darin Gaub, CW3 Budge is the one who was “nothing less than assaulted,” while his perpetrators walk scot-free. The Gateway Pundit also interviewed the former UH-60 Black Hawk pilot and Battalion Commander who has known CW3 Budge for several years.

CW3 Budge once served under Gaub’s command, a time that also included two combat tours. He described him as “a fighter” that can be “aggressive when he is determined to do what is right,” Gaub recalled.“But isn’t that the kind of person we want in our nation’s military—one that has the courage to do what it takes to stand against tyranny and unlawful orders?”

“At a time when Army Aviation is suffering from a severe loss of talent and experience as result of [the tyrannical enforcement of the] COVID-19 shot,” Gaub asserted, “Budge is the last person you should want to get rid of, an experienced Black Hawk maintenance test pilot with years of combat experience.”To the contrary, he argued, “You need to be bending over backwards to keep people like this, not bending over backwards to get rid of them as a result of his opposition to a mandate that has now been acknowledged as illegal.”

“You’ve taken Budge from a patriotic [warrant] officer serving in the military, trying to defend his nation,and turned him into a target of the chain of command, threatening his livelihood and his family,” Gaub shared. “On top of that,you went on a revenge trip, put him through boards to try to remove his flight wings, restricted his ability to travel, and attempted to keep him from his family—and now people are concerned about how he reacted?”

“[His command] backed him into a corner, and now you’re wondering why he responded negatively to you when you’re the one who attacked him,” Gaub said, noting “It definitely wasn’t the other way around as you were the one enforcing the jab against his lawful objections.”

“If you’re going to hold someone like Brandon Budge accountable for not reacting exactly like you wanted him to, particularly when you’re the ones coming after him with an illegal mandate, then what exactly did you expect the outcome to be?”

“Why would you hold him accountable for how an officer should act in this situation and not hold the people accountable who forced the illegal mandate on him?” Gaub questioned. In his opinion, “It is absolutely critical in this case and I’m sure in many others.”

“Brandon is just one exampleof a number of people who found themselves pushing back against their chain of command that was assaulting them with a potentially harmful or even deadly jab,” he offered. “That’s the greater issue here.”

Budge is one of tens of thousands of service members impacted by “the illegal mandate,” Gaub noted. “From what I’ve witnessed,” Gaub said, “I can’t think of a single person in that group of people who’s been properly addressed through the chain of command up to the Secretary of Defense.”

Can Defense Secretary Hegseth or Army Chief George intervene for Warrant Officer Budge while there’s still time?The answer may depend on whether enough Americans demand justice.

Cracker Barrel’s co-founder Tommy Lowe had some harsh words for the woke CEO trying to rebrand his original old country store.

Last week, Julie Felss Masino, the woke Cracker Barrel CEO, sparked a major backlash after changing the company’s beloved logo.

She claimed the public just loved the new Cracker Barrel logo and redesign of the restaurant.The new interior of Cracker Barrel looks cold and sterile – not like the original comfy and cozy vibe.

“Honestly, the feedback has been overwhelmingly positive,” Masino said on Good Morning America last week.

The new logo erased the old man leaning against a barrel – and wiped out more than $100 million of the company’s market value.

Later Tuesday, Cracker Barrel caved to public pressure and will switch its logo back to the beloved “Old Timer.”

Tommy Lowe, 93, sat down with Newschannel5’s Carrie Sharp and had some harsh words for the woke CEO trying to destroy the business he founded.

“Oh, that’s crazy. That’s a bland nothing,” Lowe said as he looked at the new logo. “It is pitiful.”

“Do you think she has heard the story of Cracker Barrel?” Carrie Sharp asked Lowe.

“I don’t think so,” Lowe said.

“They’re trying to modernize to be like the competition – Cracker Barrel doesn’t have any competition. I heard she [Masino] was at Taco Bell. What’s Taco Bell know about Cracker Barrel and country food? They need to work on the food and service and leave the barrel – the logo alone,” Lowe said.

Being a northerner I bought a book there “How to speak Southern”

I had no accent and had a business going to businesses door to door, so I tried greeting potential clients with, “Hey, how y’all doing? One business owner said, “you’re a northerner ain’t ya!”, we all cracked up and I said “yes you got me”. Sold some product that day.

Yesterday, the CIA Directorate of Analysispurposefully framed a hit against the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) by leaking a manufactured storythat DNI Tulsi Gabbard had exposed an “undercover” agent when she removed the security clearances of 37 former and current intelligence embeds.

In reality, the CIA attempted to block Tulsi Gabbard from exposing how the CIA manipulatedthe 2017 Intelligence Community Assessment claiming Russian interference in the 2016 election. Ms. Julia Gurganus was the CIA analyst who organized the ICA.

As Tulsi Gabbard began to drill down onto the issue, and as the current CIA analysts within the former National Intelligence Council (NIC) and CIA Directorate of Analysis began to notice she was going to reveal the fraud, the CIA embeds changed the status of Julia Gurganus in June in an effort to protect her.

The CIA changed the status of Julia Gurganus in June,reclassifying her as ‘covert’ specifically because the ODNI’s public statements ofintent to reveal the fraudwithin the 2016 Russia election investigation. This,they schemed, would stop DNI Gabbardfrom exposing Gurganus and taking action.

The CIA scheme didn’t work.DNI Gabbard declassified and released the CIA work product,and then later removed Gurganus security clearance. The CIAembedsat the directorate of analysiswere furious and leaked the false storyto the Wall Street Journal using the familiar ploy that has worked for them in the past.

By calling Julia Gurganus an active and covert CIA operative, the scheme team within the directorate knew Gabbard would be unable to defend herself publicly. Discussing the identity of an active/covert CIA operative is against the law. The CIA weaponized the law within their attack against the ODNI; leaking a false story they knew Tulsi couldn’t defend against.

However, we the people are not stupid. It did not take long to figure out the identity of the assess from the curriculum vitae used in the Wall Street Journal story, and from that point it was clear Julia Gurganus was NOT previously a covert CIA operative. Gurganus was public in her position within the CIA; public, until the CIA changed her status in June.

This is ultimately an example of the weaponized intelligence system DNI Gabbard is fighting against. Continued..
