If that maintainer is listening, remove the pointless network requests to 8ch.
You are getting 24 threads every time, you do not need to get 24 threads, you need to keep track of the last time the thread was updated and compare that to the "last_modified" post, in this way you only get what you need maybe 1 or 2 threads an update times 2.6 million users instead of 24 threads per 2.6 million users.
That last_modified field of the thread OP updates whenever a post is added, to catch Q's edits you can also compare individual posts 'last_modified' with their time to see if they have been edited. Q can only edit on /pf/ so you can just check if thread 440 has any updated edited posts.
