New Toastmaster 2.5.2

Not a programmer, just inquisitive user.

I seem to notice that the Auto Update box is checked, however updates are not happening unless box is unchecked, then re-checked.

At the same time, the post count in lower right hand corner is not enabled unless that Auto Update box is checked, then re-checked.

I know that during the attacks on site a couple weeks ago caused the Auto Update box to be disabled by webmaster.

As of 11/2-3, my Auto Update and post counter worked great. Then after updating to ToastMaster 2.5.5, caused the problem stated above (Auto Update and post counter).

Any suggestions or hints? Always looking to learn more.

if (t) {

m.innerHTML = "What's Good!! (" + t + ")";

console.log(t + ' ' + window.t);

if(window.t != t) {

if (window.announce) clearTimeout(window.announce);

var snd = new Audio(frog);

snd.play();

Roger.

Basic rundown is…

Toastmaster.

I have it play a sound when Q posts.

That is the portion that I pasted.

Does NO LONGer work in FireFox. DOES work in Chrome.

Have not made any changes to Firefox. Disabled all add-ons.

Just wondering if anything has changed I may not be aware of.

Wow…Something on my end in Fox then. Also tried on Comodo and works there also.

I really appreciate your help! I don't want to take up your time, but if your really interested in troubleshooting, I'll roll with you.

Up to you.

Yea. those base64's are really big. Was never an issue though until lately.

All the modifications have been tested since Feb 2019. Sopped working recently.

Above post I stated about the FFox update. That has to be the cause.

I've removed all the other variables, and still won't work, however will work on other browsers.

It works with…

opt.onclick = function () {

var snd = new Audio(frog);

snd.play()

…just not when there is a Q post.

Quick question since you're being really helpful.

Does the action of…

m.innerHTML = "What's Good!! (" + t + ")"

…trigger the sound?

So now you had me look on my actual JS in options on /qresearch, and not my Notepad paste.

I switched to Comodo, and looking at it, it is VERY different then my Notepad.

So I'm going to have to t/shoot wtf is happening.
