Given recent events, I was thinking to abandon the online Research Tool and turn my focus to developing the site's front end information. But I looked at my stats, and it does appear that someone somewhere out there is trying to use the Research Tool, even though it kind of limps along. I have yet to see anyone doing on their site what I envision for the front end on my site, so it needs to be done at some point, no question. But at the same time, it looks like I need to do some work on the Research Tool to get it to perform better. Seriously, the data set is getting so huge that it's putting quite a strain on the search engine. Maybe setting up some views will help? Also, I think I need to set it up so that contexts are available only on a single result page. The work-around for users is to click the post number in the post header. That will display the post on a single result page, and from there, the context can be calculated.

Hmmm…. Took a closer look at those stats. The hits are all on the front end. So maybe that's what I need to work on. Will anyone here mind if I pull the online Research Tool?
