Believe it or not this is very much like a Chinese finger trap…
It pulls both together and it symbolized the joint action of regions in aspect and ways.
There is no occult symbology to it… as maybe the the American first flag with a snake on it was not looked at like this but it was about the same theory. They had to stand together or fall or remain under British Rule.
