No, unfortunately that is not true.
Some flights may be delayed by less, but commercial are generally in the 10 min+ range.
We proved this here handily a couple weeks ago when an anon claimed a Delta flight had fallen out of the sky in the middle of Kentucky or something, because FlightRadar24 said it had not landed and had disappeared, and then we saw from the FUCKING DELTA WEB SITE that it was safely at the gate in Atlanta.
Planefag did not take that information well, but it was right there, and far be it from me to argue with our noble planefags. A fact is a fact.
If you want to get educated on this, it is actually very easy:
Just open 2 browser tabs one with FlightRadar and one at the airline web site, and follow the progress of a flight. You could do it right now.
You will see that the airline web site is ALWAYS ahead of FlightRadar.
Easiest way to check, obviously, is to check when it is close to destination so you can see precise time at gate.
An air force fag told us, also, that flight tracks can be simply turned on and off, and that is why planes seem to disappear at times. In addition, some military never allow their tracks on FlightRadar.
