An astronomer other than Avi Loeb is commenting on his YT channel that 3I/Atlas is beginning to look really strange. It is outputing CO2 in large amounts, but with very low levels of water or carbon monoxide, like is seen with normal comets. It is now observed emitting nickel with iron. This is only seen to date from industrial activities involving very specialized metal manufacturing of exotic alloys of nickel…like nickel/titanium compounds.
A lot of other stuff above my pay grade. Worth a few minutes and probably someone to watch for the next couple of months as this very, very strange object makes a pass through the inner solar system.
