ARLINGTON, Virginia — Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent told Breitbart News exclusively on Labor Day that President DonaldTrump’s fulfilled “no tax on tips” campaign promise will significantly help American workers like the wait staff at the diner he visited on Monday.

Bessent sat with Breitbart News for nearly half an hour in a booth at Metro 29 Diner just outside the nation’s capital here onMonday morning as part of a multi-stop tour he took of restaurants and bars on Labor Day to highlight how Trump’s agendais delivering for Main Street to level the playing field with financial elites in the country.

“It’s part of the president’s agenda and it’s what I call parallel prosperity. Wall Street has done great. Upper income taxpayers and business have done great. Now, Main Street and working Americans are going to do great,” Bessent said. “It’s part of what you said, which is when the One Big Beautiful Bill became One Big Beautiful Law, the no tax on tips, no tax on overtime, no tax on Social Security, and interest deductibility of auto loans for new cars that are made in the U.S.”

The Treasury Department this week will roll out specific profession-by-profession and industry-by-industry=guidance on the no tax on tips part of the One Big Beautiful Billthat Trump signed into law back in July. A draft copy of the document that Bessent’s staff provided to Breitbart News ahead of the interviewshows dozens of pages of professions that the government deems worthy of the tips exemption of up to $25,000 from federal taxes for tipped workers.

“It’s very wide-ranging and the good news is we have a lot of data,” Bessent said. “People aren’t going to be able to game the system… It’s the president delivering for working Americans and we’ve had this affordability crisis. There are two ways to solve that. One, we are bending the curve on inflation and getting that under control and then we are going to belaser focused on affordability this fall with solutions, especially on housing. Buttwo is to grow wages for working Americans and this is a big step.”

A lot of American workers, Bessent said, got screwed under now former President Joe Biden’s administration. Trump, he said, is trying to fix it and level the playing field.

“You and I have talked about it—a lot of them really got [screwed] under the Biden administration.It was a wipeout for the bottom 50 percent of wage earners,” Bessent said.

Asked about what advice he would have for workers who benefit from the extra cash thanks to Trump and the Republicans,Bessent said pay down any debt and then start saving.

“First thing would be, if you have any high-cost debt, pay that down,” Bessent said. “That’s the best thing to do. Then, you canstart thinking about a rainy-day fund or saving up or creating a cash cushion.”

The goal with all of these efforts, the president’s top financial adviser said, is to “reward work.”

“Again, the main thing is to reward work,” Bessent said. “We want to reward hardworking Americans.So, on tips it’s easy. The first $25,000 is tax exempt. Then, on overtime, the more hours you work, the more you make.”

Asked about how he and Trump are focused on what he calls “parallel prosperity” for Main Street getting some success after Wall Street has done so well before, Bessent saidit’s time for working class Americans to have “some catch-up here.”

President Donald Trump has considered “reopening insane asylums” and argued that society “can’t have these people walking around” with severe mental illnesses, during a recent interview on his crime crackdown in Washington, DC.

The Daily Caller’s Reagan Reese interviewedhim in the Oval Office on Friday, askingif he would “be open to the government reopening insane asylums for people with serious mental illness.”

“Yeah I would,”the president responded.

When Reese prompted further, Trump continued, “Well, they used to have them, and you never saw people like we had, you know, they used to have them. And what happened is states like New York and California that had them, New York had a lot of them.They released them all into society because they couldn’t afford it.”

“You know, it’s massively expensive. But we had, they were all over New York. I remember when I was growing up, Creedmoor. They had a place, Creedmoor, they had a lot of them, Bellevue, and they were closed by a certain governor,” Trump reflected. “And I remember when they did, it was a long time ago, and I said they didn’t release these people? And they did. They released them into society, and that’s what you have. It’s a rough, it’s a rough situation.”

He added, “Because, you can’t have these people walking around.”

Speaking to the success of his takeover of DC’s Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) and deployment of the National Guard to stomp out crime in the district, he told Reese that it is now a “crime-free zone.”

“So it turned out, it was amazing, because we’re a crime free zone now. I mean, you see what’s going on? There’s no crime. People are walking to restaurants. They’re free. It’s almost like we just freed the whole Washington, DC,” Trump said, noting that it happened “faster” than he thought.

“I mean, I knew we’re going to do it, but it went faster than I thought… Now, in two weeks, it’s going to be even better. I’m calling it, it’s a crime free zone now,” he continued. “People are going to restaurants that haven’t gone out in four years. They didn’t even want to go in their car because they get the you know, they have..,you see, the carjacking is down 87 percent.”

Even the Democrat mayor of Washington, DC, Muriel Bowser, touted the dramatic reduction in carjackings and overall crime as a success caused by Trump’s actions.

“We greatly appreciate the surge of officers that enhance what MPD has been able to do in this city,” the mayor said at a press conference last week:

“We know that when carjackings go down, when use of guns goes down, when homicide or robbery go down, neighborhoods feel safer and are safer, so this surge has been important to us,” Bowser continued, before adding that she has been working directly with U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi and Trump’s White House chief of staff Susie Wiles.

Michigan Democrats Caught in $5 Billion Fraud Scheme

Republicans in Michigan have exposed one of themost blatant examples of budgetary abuse in recent memory.

House Republicans say their review of the state budgetrevealed more than $5 billion in waste, fraud, and abuse, hidden through the creation of 4,277 “phantom jobs.”

These positions do not exist in reality but were used to justify line items that allowed Democrats to funnel money toward radical priorities rather than essential services.

Among thespending categories tied to these fake jobs are taxpayer-funded gender surgeries for convicted criminals and millions in “arts and culture” grants for organizations that cannot even be identified.

Under complete Democrat control,Lansing has allowed the budget to balloon to over $82 billion—the largest in state history.

Compared to just two years ago, state spending has grown by nearly 20%, and rather than delivering real benefits for taxpayers, the increase has been absorbed by programs that advance ideological goals.

Roads remain among the worst in the nation, insurance rates continue to weigh down families, and basic services show little improvement.Yet Democrats diverted billionstoward programs that would not survive public scrutiny if debated honestly.

Republicans have presented a clear alternative. Their plan eliminates the fake jobs, strips out the fraudulent spending categories, and redirects those funds to priorities that ordinary citizens actually value.

That includes repairing infrastructure,providing real tax relief, and ensuring that schools have the resourcesneeded to educate students rather than serve as staging grounds for partisan experiments.

This scandal also illustrates the consequences of one-party rule.With Democrats holding the governorship and both chambers of the legislature, budget oversight has been reduced to rubber-stamping.

Bills have been rushed through the process without transparent debate, and oversight committees have been largely sidelined. That environment allowed the creation of thousands of fake jobs and billions in questionable spending.

SEND IN THE US MARSHALS: Maricopa County Attempting to Illegally Delete Records Ahead of Potential DOJ Investigations

Maricopa County officials are attempting to delete emails that potentially relate to the 2020 and 2022 elections, as well as irregularities in the 2024 elections, amid potential investigations by Trump Administration officials into the election fraud.

In a letter to Maricopa County ManagerJen Pokorski, newly elected Republican County Recorder Justin Heap sounded the alarm on the Maricopa County Enterprise Technology and Innovation (ETI) department’splans to delete archived emails from previous administrations. These documents are the subject of outstanding public records requests and may be of value in an official investigation.

Heap argues that the destruction of these emails would violate Arizona law, relating to record retention, and county policies. He further asks that the records be maintained due to their historical significance and in order to fulfill public records requests.

Local activist Merissa Hamilton says the move by Maricopa County is “suspect,” as “Trump Administration officials signal fresh probes into 2020 concerns and beyond.”

Elections in Maricopa County have come under intense scrutiny following the 2020 election, which was stolen from Trump, and the 2022 election, where 60% of the voting machines miraculously failed on election day and robbed then-gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake, then-Attorney General candidate Abe Hamadeh, and others of a win.

As The Gateway Pundit reported, Assistant Attorney General Harmeet Dhillon announced last monththat the Department of Justice Civil Rights Division is investigating violations of federal voting laws and cracking down on state voter rolls. This likely includes a deeper dive into Arizona, a hotbed for election irregularities, especially in 2020 and 2022.

Previously, US Rep.Abe Hamadeh, whose 2022 election was stolen by just 280 votes, also told The Gateway Pundit thathe met with FBI Director Kash Patel and signaled that the FBI is looking at what happened in Arizona. “I’m still seeking justice. I’m just going to say, stay tuned to see what happens. We haven’t forgotten,” Hamadeh said.

Hamadeh later alerted the Department of Justice topotential illegal activity in Arizona and several western states after a whistleblower came forward with “credible claims” of election security violationsinvolving the Arizona-based ballot printing firm,Runbeck Election Services. Runbeck, which surely has email correspondence with County officials, allegedly commingled blank ballotswith voted mail-in ballots in a warehouse during the 2024 vote-counting process. The shady private entity, founded by leftists, transports and scans Maricopa County mail-in ballots with no chain of custody and little oversight before they are processed and counted by the County.

Additionally, just last week, it was revealed byDirector of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard that documents related to corruption in the 2020 electionwere found “tucked away in the back of safes in random offices” in “burn bags.” The evidence of election fraud is expected to be made public shortly.

The emails could also include collusionbetween Maricopa County officials and the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) to censorso-called “election deniers” and The Gateway Pundit’s reporting on Maricopa County elections.

Furthermore,this comes amid an ongoing fight between the County Recorder’s office and the Board of Supervisors after they previously stripped the Recorder of election oversight duties. Recorder Heap saysa “quickly and secretly executed” Shared Services Agreement was “collusively” entered by RINO Former County Recorder Stephen Richerand RINO Maricopa County Chairman Thomas Galvin. In a statement, Heap said the agreement,

created months before he took office, was “designed to do only one thing: keep me from fixing Maricopa County’s elections.”

It appears the County istrying to delete email correspondence that may prove collusionwith Stephen Richer, who infamously defended the County’s shady elections and even sued Kari Lake for speaking out about her stolen election.

Hamilton notes that “they’re now denying access to the current Maricopa County Recorder—raising serious questions about what they’re trying to conceal.”

To make matters worse,Nate Young, head of the Maricopa County IT department and former Recorder Richer’s Chief Information Officer, apparently sent a contemptuous response to a Recorder’s Office employee, calling Heap’s request to maintain the records “[ridiculous].”

According to the Department of Justice,Bouchard falsely claimed to be an American citizen on voter registration applications filed in 2022 and 2024.He is accused of voting in the 2022 congressional election and the 2024 presidential electiondespite never having obtained U.S. citizenship.

Claim of Russian GPS blocking of von der Leyen’s plane false – Flightradar

The EU earlier accused Moscow of “blatant interference” and of subjecting the aircraft to electronic jamming

Flight-tracking website Flightradar24 has refuted allegations made by several media outletsand EU officials that the plane of European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen was subjected to GPS signal jamming.

The aircraft that carried the EU Commission chief to Bulgaria on Sunday showed good GPS signal quality along its entire route, the monitoring service wroteon X on Monday. The flight arrived only nine minutes later than scheduled, the service said, noting that some media reports erroneously claimed that “the aircraft was in a holding pattern for 1 hour.”

“The aircraft’s transponder reported good GPS signal quality from take-off to landing,” it added.

The alleged GPS issues were first reported by theFinancial Times, which cited unnamed sources who claimed the pilots experienced signal blackouts so severe that they had to use “paper maps”for landing. The sources also suggested Russia was to blame for the alleged incident. Reached for comment by the FT,Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said the reported allegations were untrue.

The claims were made official on Monday. Both the EU and Bulgarian authorities pointed the finger at Moscow.

“We can indeed confirm that there was GPS jamming, but the plane landed safely in Bulgaria. We have received information from the Bulgarian authorities that they suspect that this was due to blatant interference by Russia,” EU Commission spokeswoman Arianna Podesta told a press conference in Brussels.

The Bulgarian government also appeared to corroborate the claims the pilots had to rely on alternate navigation tools while landing at Plovdiv International Airport.

“During the flight carrying European Commission president Ursula von der Leyen to Plovdiv, the satellite signal transmitting information to the plane’s GPS navigation system was neutralized,”the government said in a statement. “To ensure the flight’s safety, air control services immediately offered an alternative landing method using terrestrial navigation tools,” it added.

Ukrainian MP blames Zelensky for assassination of far-right politician

The authorities in Kiev framed a “random man” as the murderer of MP Andrey Parubiy, Artyom Dmitruk has claimed

Vladimir Zelensky’s government is behind the assassination of prominent Ukrainian far-right politician Andrey Parubiy,exiled Ukrainian lawmaker Artyom Dmitruk has claimed.

The former parliamentary speaker was gunned down in the city of Lviv in Western Ukraine on Saturday. Less than 48 hours later, Zelensky announced that the suspected killer had been apprehended.

In a series of posts on X on Monday,Dmitruk questioned the official version, claiming that the “trail of this crime leads directly to Bankova Street,” referring towhere the Ukrainian presidential administration in Kiev is located.

The exiled politician dismissed the investigation as “miserable staging,” the conclusions stemming from which defy “common sense.”

An outspoken critic of the Zelensky government,Dmitruk accused the security services of framing a “random man.”

Dmitruk fled Ukraine in August 2024,alleging that he had received death threatsfrom the country’s security servicesover his opposition to Zelensky’s persecution of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church.

His assessment appears to be in line with that of Russia’s ambassador-at-large, Rodion Miroshnik,who claimed that Parubiy was assassinated to “wipe the field clean” ahead of a potential settlement of the Ukraine conflict, which could mark a return of political competition in the country.

On Monday, police officials in Lviv Region stated that a Russian connection was being investigated as a “priority,” claiming that Moscow “seeks to destabilize [Ukrainian] society through various sinister and cynical actions.”

Parubiy co-founded the Social-National Party of Ukraine in 1991 – known for its neo-Nazi symbolism and ideology. The far-right politician went on to play a central role in the 2014 Maidan coup, coordinating paramilitary protest groups in Kiev.

After the ouster of President Viktor Yanukovich, he was appointed secretary of Ukraine’s National Security and Defense Council,and oversaw early military operations against the secessionist militias in Donbass.

Parubiy was also allegedly responsible for the crushing of protests in Odessa in May 2014, which culminated in a fire at the Trade Unions building that killed more than 40 activists who opposed Kiev’s coup-installed government.

The background issues highlight the inevitability of the latest developments. Before talking specifically about Ukraine,let’s first consider the individual parties within the so-called “coalition of the willing,” Great Britain, France and Germany.

All three major European economies are in trouble, along with the aggregate economy in Brussels which is heavily influenced by Germany, France and Italy.

Within Great Britain, Prime Minister Kier Starmer is in a hot mess. “Starmer faces populists both left and right, with Brexit veteran Nigel Farage’s Reform UK consistently ahead in the polls. Inflation has ticked up. Unpopular tax rises loom. Starmer’s backbenchers are nervous about planned welfare cuts and reforms for children with special needs. And migrants keep arriving on small boats across the English Channel.” {link}

In France, Emmanuel Macron is in the worst political shape of his tenuous career. Another no confidence manuever has backfired against the current French government. “In an Ifop poll conducted after [Prime Minister] Bayrou’s address, 63 percent of respondents said they were in favor of going back to the ballot box, with that figure getting to 86 percent among National Rally voters.” {link} The issues around French politics are now too vast for the Ukraine effort to hide them.

Within Germany things are not much better. The economy is contracting, and Chancellor Merz is in the dubious positionof cutting subsidy benefits in order to address the problem. “During Sunday’s interview Merz defended his coalition’s historic decision to loosen the debt brake on defense spending — made possible by an unexpected U-turn by Merz’s conservatives right after the election — and even went so far as to link it to NATO’s survival. “We were essentially able to preserve NATO with our decision,” he said.” {link}

Germans are very particular about their economic position. When the core of the industrial economy is threatened, the German people focus on nothing else. The German industrial economy is part of their EU identity; it is simply their priority.All things Ukraine become something ‘less than’, in the face of these economic challenges.

Subsequently,this so-called “coalition of the willing” is not very willing to advance the security interests of Ukraineagainst the background of their domestic politics which has suffered as a result of the distraction; enter U.S. President Donald Trump.

President Trump has stepped back from trying to stimulate Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Russian President Vladimir Putinto come to terms. In fact, President Trump has indicated they just may need to fight more, to ultimately get to a point where their interests are in a more desperate position. As noted by Trump, “maybe they have to fight a little longer. You know, just keep fighting. — stupidly, keep fighting.”

A tactical retreat by President Trump is what the majority of the American people support. A tactical retreat also allows Russian Federation President Putin to complete his larger goals and bring Zelenskyy to the point where he concedes defeat and requests a ceasefire.

The withdrawal of U.S. support would mean, the “coalition of the willing” would need to stand stronger in the front of the security guarantee issue. Considering the domestic issues of the U.K, France and Germany, more forward leaning just doesn’t seem at all likely. (They fucked themselves with all other NWO idiots in Europe)

BERLIN — German Chancellor Friedrich Merz said he is mentally preparing for a long war in Ukraine — but wouldn’t be drawn on whether Berlin will deploy peacekeeping troops should there be a ceasefire.

In a televised interview on Sunday, he also said that if he hadn’t decided to alter Germany’s debt rules to allow it to massively invest in defense, the NATO alliance would probably have disintegrated in June.

They go off to the next “hunt” and let everyone rip themselves apart, including Bobby Kennedy Jr. and CDC, trying to figure out the success or failure of the Drug Companies Covid work.
