US Strike On Drug-Boat That Departed Venezuela Leaves 11 Dead, Video Released
Update(1831ET): More details of the military action against an allegedly drug-laden boat which departed Venezuela have been revealed by President Trump in a Truth Social post:
"Earlier this morning, on my Orders, U.S. Military Forces conducted a kinetic strike against positively identified Tren de Aragua Narcoterrorists in the SOUTHCOM area of responsibility," Trump said. "The strike occurred while the terrorists were at sea in International waters transporting illegal narcotics, heading to the United States. The strike resulted in 11 terrorists killed in action."
A sizeable U.S. armada currently sits afloat in the waters where the strike occurred. Four destroyers carrying Tomahawk cruise missiles and more than 4,500 Marines and sailors are deployed in the area.
Eleven deaths in the US military action in the south Caribbean is quite significant, and if they are found to be Venezuelan citizens, it will certainly raise tensions much higher with Caracas. Trump has released footage of the strike:

Schools Make Kids Crazy
Almost one-third of government schools nationwide are now surveilling the mental health of students. Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker recently signed a bill to bring “universal mental health screening” to two million Illinois students as part of his Children’s Behavioral Health Transformation Initiative. But this rescue effort will ravage many students and is a warning shot to parents across the nation. Manhattan Institute fellow Abigail Shrier warned that the new Illinois law will mean “tens of thousands of Illinois kids get shoved into the mental health funnel and convinced they are sick. Many or most will be false positives.”
If politicians want to help kids, they must recognize how government schools systematically undermine students’ mental health.
The Covid school lockdowns nuked the mental health of millions of young Americans. A 2024 JAMA Original Investigation found that between 2018 and 2021, young people saw an almost 300% increase in the number of hospital emergency visits for eating disorders and suicidal ideation. Suicide attempts increased 250% during that time. Depression and anxiety skyrocketed among youth from the start of the pandemic, but politicians and policymakers ignored the mental carnage that Covid policies inflicted.
A 2021 Centers for Disease Control and Prevention survey found that 44% of high school students said they “persistently felt sad or hopeless in the past year.” Females were almost twice as likely to be depressed, with 57% “persistently felt sad and hopeless” versus 31% of male students. School shutdowns dismally failed to thwart the spread of Covid. After schools reopened, students were hassled to comply with idiotic mask mandates that did nothing except multiply anxiety.
Schools are subverting students’ mental health by endlessly hectoring them to doubt or despise their own bodies. These school antics reached epidemic level even before the start of the Covid pandemic. In 2019, the state of Maryland issued regulations to promote “viewing each student’s” “gender identity and expression” as “valuable.” Government officials and political appointees arrogated to themselves the prerogative to redefine gender in the state of Maryland. Montgomery County, the largest school system in the state, announced that it would choose books for the curriculum “through an ‘LGBTQ+ Lens’ and ask whether books ‘reinforced or disrupted’ ‘stereotypes,’ ‘cisnormativity,’ and ‘power hierarchies,’” according to a brief filed at the Supreme Court by parents who successfully challenged the school system. That brief also noted that “teachers are told to frame disagreement with [pro-LGBTQ] ideas as ‘hurtful,’ and to counter with examples of ‘men who paint their nails’ or ‘wear dresses.’” The goal is to instill in children “a new perspective not easily contravened by their parents,” as the county school board admitted.

Epstein victims have identified other 'persons of interest,' House Oversight Committee chair says
Members of Congress had a two-hour meeting with Epstein victims.
The Republican chairman of the House Oversight Committee said that some "persons of interest" in the Jeffrey Epstein case had been named by victims during a meeting Monday.
The members met with the six victims for over two hours in a closed-door meeting, according to Republican Rep. James Comer of Kentucky. Afterward, he told reporters that they had "learned of some additional names today."

A representative for the committee said the people identified "possess information" about Epstein or those who allegedly participated in his sex trafficking ring.
"Some of the ladies have shared these stories publicly before, but at least two of the women had never told their stories before, one for the very first time in the room, and so there were tears in the room," said Republican House Speaker Mike Johnson of Louisiana.
"There was outrage. It was both — I would describe it as heartbreaking and infuriating," he added. "That justice has been delayed so long."
Also on Monday, the committee released a trove of 33,295 pages from the Epstein files, though it was unclear what percentage of the release was new material.
"DOJ has indicated it will continue producing records while ensuring the redaction of victim identities & child abuse material," Comer said on social media.

'Shalom Namaste': Thousands of workers from India will learn Hebrew before they arrive in Israel
Indian recruitment giant Dynamic is running a Hebrew language training project for Indian workers who are expected to join the construction and industrial sectors in Israel; initiative comes amid a severe labor shortage in Israel’s construction industry; It will soon be expanded to Sri Lanka and Thailand
Dynamic Staffing Services, India’s largest international recruitment agency—which began operating in Israel in November 2023 to supply skilled workers for the construction and industrial sectors—has launched a new initiative in partnership with Workforce24 to train foreign workers in Hebrew.
The program, called “Shalom Namaste,” offers a 13-week Hebrew course through live classes, recorded lessons and practice materials. It was developed with input from foreign workers and Israeli employers.
According to the company, the program equips foreign workers in India with practical Hebrew and English skills to support their integration into Israeli society. About 4,800 foreign workers are currently enrolled, with some 500 already completing the course.
At the request of Israeli employers, enrollment will soon expand to workers from Sri Lanka and Thailand, the company said.
One of the first companies to employ graduates of the program is Shikun & Binui, through its subsidiary Solel Boneh’s foreign workers division. Flyshn Ltd., a professional foreign labor corporation in the construction sector, also took part in the pilot.
The initiative comes amid a severe labor shortage in Israel’s construction industry, which began after Palestinian workers were barred from entering following the October 7 attacks. Contractors have complained that some of the Indian workers brought in to fill the gap are unsuited for the work, citing language barriers among other challenges.
“In the Gulf states, Asian workers benefit from communities and integrate quickly. In Israel, worker adaptation is far more challenging,” said Sameer Khosla, chairman of Dynamic. “The Shalom Namaste program helps bridge this gap and supports the integration of workers in Israel.”

Democratic senators say Israel barred their entry to Gaza
One of the senators also used language that U.S. Jewish organizations say evokes centuries-old antisemitic conspiracy theories.
Sens. Chris Van Hollen (D-Md.) and Jeff Merkley (D-Ore.) drew praise from the Council on American-Islamic Relations for their efforts to enter Gaza, and the group, which blamed Israel for being attacked shortly after Oct. 7, 2023, urged other U.S. lawmakers to attempt the same thing.
On Friday, Van Hollen used language that U.S. Jewish groups have said hearkens back to centuries-old antisemitic conspiracy theories.
“Why have a State Department bureau on the Middle East if Trump and Sec. Marco Rubio are taking their orders from Netanyahu?” stated the Maryland Democrat. “We can save a lot of money by cutting out the middleman.” (Many American Jewish groups have said that suggesting that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu runs the U.S. government is Jew-hatred.)
“What will his next post be? The Jews who control our U.S. government?” stated Hussain Abdul-Hussain, a research fellow at the Foundation for Defense of Democracies. “Antisemitism, anyone?”
In nearly a dozen and a half statements posted to social media, the two senators criticized Israel and Netanyahu, including accusing the latter’s government of “weaponization of hunger.”
“Netanyahu is restricting aid trucks into Gaza—the best way to get food to starving people there—so Jordan is delivering some with air drops,” Van Hollen stated. “The Jordanians said Sen. Jeff Merkley and I could join one of those flights to see the devastation, but Israel denied authorization for our scheduled flight.”
Merkley stated that the senators got a “rosy” briefing at the Kerem Shalom crossing “about aid reaching Gaza, but the reality is different. Far too little food gets through.”
The senators also decried what they said is “rising Israeli settler violence in the West Bank.” They also referred to the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation, which has delivered millions of meals to Gazans, as “so-called,” and said that Israel uses an “onerous screening process” on material entering the Strip.
“Israel’s inspection process at Ashdod Port protects against Hamas weapons smuggling,” stated the Israeli-American Civic Action Network. “Suggesting Israel is ‘starving Gaza’ ignores Hamas’s theft of aid and fuels dangerous narratives. Security and humanitarian aid are not mutually exclusive.”
The senators also said they demand that “the Netanyahu government deliver a ceasefire and the immediate return of all the loved ones held in Gaza.”
The Hamas terror organization continues to hold hostages in Gaza. The Netanyahu government does not.
