Anons - I am all for the gold standard. How do you know its coming and how to best profit from the transition?

True - I was also thinking along the lines of the average american who doesn't know anything Wouldn't their retirement funds be wiped out and worth much less?
Interesting - if you could find any of those posts I'd be interested to read. I'd imagine that the stock market would in the short term be affected but the value of the dollar / DOW would inherently go up. Having gold would be helpful not just as a hedge but if its revalued, you'd make a significant profit.
I agree - but so many average Americans savings are tied to the stock market. Wouldn't it ruin them?
