The porn issue: We all want freedom and 8 has been great for that, but we have a M.O. Just like how I have free speech in my neighborhood, there is also a noise ordinance, I also can't yell things all day at my neighbors or put giant pictures of porn in my yard. The rules are lessened when people behave and they are tightened when people do not. If we are having an issue then, just like my neighborhood, we are free to enact ordinances to curb bad behavior. Don't like it? there are other boards for it. Sure, its a free place, but if you aren't going along with the hivemind we are going to work to excise you, and we have that right. This is the rule of nature. Animals do it all the time. Don't go along with the herd and you will get picked off by a predator and you will put the safety of the rest of group in jeopardy by drawing more predators in who can smell weakness.
If you all need to see some tits or have a wank then go to the other places of the internet where that is the M.O. and enjoy that flavor of freedom there. We want responsible freedom, not anarchy.
