I'm going with the "timing is everything" scenario

The screams from the lefties must reach crescendo so that after weeks/months of screaming for the release of the evidence they will have a very hard time trying to walk it back. Some telepromter readers will have scripts of complete denial but the beauty of anons and the "archive offline" there will be video clips of them screming for it. I guess some attempts at "no, those are deep fakes" but there will be lefties with just enough attention span to go "I remember when that was broadcast, I remember we were finally going to get the bad orange man"

Then the fun of them trying to figure out who to vote for since the party "leaders" they've looked up to are the ones exposed. A bit of ripple effect on the party itself would be nice but I don't want to get greedy

He wants to put the French in uniforms and go to Ukraine as "peace keepers" and "security guarantee" while the "migrants" stay back and take over the country. I still grin about that post the other night about an Italian official commenting about how Macron should put on a helmet and the Italian ambassador got called in for it.

Do any anons still have the glorious screen shot of a Google search results where the query was "French military victories after Napolean" and results were zero?

First there's this:

Berlin rebukes von der Leyen over troops for Ukraine claim

1 Sep, 2025

The EU has no “jurisdiction or competence” regarding any potential deployments, German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius says

German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius has criticized European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen over her recent remarks about a potential EU troop deployment to Ukraine. The bloc’s leadership has neither jurisdiction nor competence in such matters, while the deliberations should be kept private, Pistorius argued.

Pistorius made the remarks while speaking to reporters during a visit to an arms manufacturer near Cologne on Monday. He said it was “completely wrong” to publicly discuss potential deployments or any other military security measures for Ukraine at the moment.

“Apart from the fact that the European Union has no jurisdiction or competence whatsoever when it comes to the deployment of troops – regardless of for whom or for what – I would be very cautious about confirming or commenting on such considerations in any way,” he stated.

Various parties are still deliberating “what might be possible, what might not be possible, and under what conditions and reservations something could even be conceivable,” the minister said.

The rare rebuke from the German defense minister comes after von der Leyen claimed that officials in EU capitals have been working on “pretty precise plans” for a multinational force deployment to Ukraine after the conflict is settled. The plan is also backed by US President Donald Trump, she claimed.

Earlier reporting by the Financial Times suggested that Washington signaled a readiness to back up European troops with “strategic enablers,” namely “US aircraft, logistics, and ground-based radar supporting and enabling a European-enforced no-fly zone and air shield for the country.” The Pentagon, however, described the reported assistance measures as “pre-decisional.”

Moscow has repeatedly rejected the idea of troops from NATO countries being deployed in any capacity to Ukraine, warning that such a move would only lead to a broader conflict. This stance was reiterated by Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov late in August, when he said that security guarantees “must be subject to consensus” while any foreign military intervention was “absolutely unacceptable.”

Germany gives up on idea of sending troops to Ukraine – Bild

The plans were reportedly scrapped after US President Donald Trump vowed there won’t be US boots on the ground in the region

31 Aug, 2025

Berlin has shelved plans to possibly deploy German soldiers to Ukraine in the event of a ceasefire, Bild reported on Sunday, citing government sources.

German Chancellor Friedrich Merz had earlier signaled openness to Berlin joining a possible peacekeeping mission in Ukraine. The idea had been floated by the so-called “coalition of the willing” – a group of Western states pushing for continued aid to Kiev. The group has proposed deploying NATO troops to monitor a potential future ceasefire with Russia as part of security guarantees for Ukraine, despite Moscow’s consistent rejection of any Western military presence in Ukraine under any guise.

Trump, however, said last week that American troops would not be deployed to Ukraine, insisting that the EU should “front load” security guarantees for Kiev, not the US, including with regard to peacekeepers.

According to Bild, Trump’s stance put a halt to Berlin’s discussions about deployment “until further notice.” Sources told the outlet the idea could return “should Trump take action” or once Moscow and Kiev reach a settlement.

In an interview with ZDF on Sunday, Merz confirmed the U-turn, saying “nobody is talking about ground troops at this point” and indicating discussions could resume once a ceasefire is in place.

Instead, Germany reportedly plans to provide financial security guarantees to Ukraine. Sources claimed Berlin intends for the Bundeswehr to continue training Ukrainian soldiers, expand weapons production in Ukraine with German arms firms, and potentially cover part of Ukrainian soldiers’ salaries after a ceasefire to ensure Kiev maintains sufficient forces.

Kiev has demanded security guarantees from Western backers as a precondition for a peace deal. Moscow has not ruled out such guarantees in principle but rejects efforts made without its participation. It has also opposed any Western troop presence in Ukraine, stressing that NATO’s expansion toward its borders was one of the key causes of the conflict.

Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said on Friday that guarantees must be the result of a settlement, not a precondition, and must take into account Russia’s security. She added that any deal should ensure Ukraine’s demilitarization, denazification, neutral and non-nuclear status, and recognition of territorial realities.
