tylenol was a giant scam from the beginning

phenacetin was a NSAID that was BANNED WORLDWIDE, because it was recognized to be the cause of massive liver damage

interesting fact… as soon as phenacetin is ingested, it is immediately converted to ACETAMINOPHEN

so it was really the acetaminophen that was responsible for all the liver damage

but johnson&johnson were desperate to crack the monopoly bayer had on NSAIDs with aspirin

btw, aspirin is without question the SAFEST AND MOST EFFECTIVE DRUG EVER INTRODUCED (it came from willow bark)

so J&J concocted the "Reyes Syndrome" scare

paid a shitton of bribes to peer-review journals to publish nonsensical pseudoscientific drivel linking aspirin to a NON-EXISTENT and totally fabricated "deadly side-effect"

then they used their advertizing $ clout to bully MSM into promoting the story about Reyes to the unwashed masses

within weeks, dozens of papers appeared in peer-review journals that exposed Reyes Syndrome as a hoax

but J&J again used their advertizing clout to bully the MSM into IGNORING the papers that discredited Reyes as a hoax

to this day, "hospital recommend tylenol" to anyone and everyone

and it's not hard to understand why….

the reason is two-fold

first, they would al be bankrupted with lawsuits if the public ever realized they were DELIBERATELY LIED TO,

and encouraged to take an OTC med that was DEADLY

and second, THEY PROFIT indirectly from the huge increase in liver transplant surgeries that are ENTIRELY ATTRIBUTABLE TO TYLENOL

i once overheard two transplant surgeons at UPMC who were washing up after a long day performing a double liver transplant

not knowing there was anyone else that could overhear, one dr joked to the other, "if it weren't for tylenol, we'd have to look for a new line of work"

but PLS to not take this anecdote to infer that all drs are corrupt and evil

SOME are…

most are just incompetent buffoons
