Maybe a few guys still grow weed and sell it off the books.
But nearly all "drugs" are manufactured and distributed by people who make some BIG money, and nearly all of their big money exists primarily as values in digital files that must be connected to networks to be valuable at all. Hence all of their wealth can be traced and seized, at least by the US if it chooses to do so.
The same goes for other things, such as the "migrant" problem in the US and Europe. Nearly ALL of the "migrants" are dependent on computerized government benefits. Or at least a vast portion, especially Muslims in Europe. In the US, there is likely a somewhat larger portion that actually works "under the table", but most who do this have to have fake documents that can be tracked. It is simply a question of will.
Actually, I suspect Trump has the will, and he could likely recruit enough computer geeks to do all this RIGHT NOW. But THEY need to trust that they won't given decades in prison if all goes wrong. I think that's where anons come in. The cultural incentive structure needs to shift more overtly.
AI has uses other than propping up a fake economy.
