Says someone that says God is light
Allah is just the word in Arabic for God they would say the same God as the Hebrew in the Old Testament. So how much difference is in the name in this aspect.
They fear a different language then a name is the same thing.
Now I could understand if you tried to point out differences in the faith you did not agree with is how I see it in this aspect is things.
To say Allah is not God it is like sayinG God is not Allah in Islamic. They would maybe distinguish this by saying Christian God or something not like a in the idea of God itself. This is the thing about translation in this aspect of things.
They are just being extreme in this way is all in my mind and they know not what they speak just speak because they know no better.
They are far from authorities on the subject is the issue in this aspect.
You could ask any Islamic person that is well enough educated they would agree ok
