Trump Says Justice Department Has Done Its Job On Epstein Case

President Donald Trump said in a lengthy social media post that the Department of Justice (DOJ) has “done its job” on releasing information connected to deceased convicted sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein.

“The now dying (after the DOJ gave thousands of pages of documents in full compliance with a very comprehensive and exacting Subpoena from Congress!) Epstein case was only brought back to life” in recent days for political purposes, not for the victims, Trump wrote in a post on Truth Social on Sept. 5.

Trump added that the Justice Department “has done its job,“ and ”they have given everything requested of them“ in the Epstein case, adding that it’s time for Democrats who are making Epstein-related demands to ”end“ what he called the ”Epstein hoax.”

In the post, he also said that the chatter around Epstein is designed to serve as a “hoax” to gain political points and an attempt “to deflect and distract from the great success of a Republican President.”

Democrats and some Republicans in the House have called for disclosures related to the case, about six years after Epstein was charged with sex trafficking counts before he was found dead in a Manhattan jail cell in August 2019. This week, lawmakers hosted a news conference with women who said they were victims of Epstein to call for more transparency.

On Tuesday, the House Oversight Committee, under Chair James Comer (R-Ky.), released a batch of Epstein-related files that it said it obtained from the DOJ in response to a subpoena for those records.

The records encompass 33,295 pages of material, which were uploaded onto Dropbox and Google Drive.

“Especially on the right, Elon Musk is being called, you know, one of the greatest warriors for American freedom, has completely forgotten that his dream is of an artificial intelligence system that will be merged with the human mind,” Allen warned.

“On Twitter, he suppresses, I mean, he’s not the freedom guy,” Bannon said.

“Those five, the top five, drive you to the singularity, do they not, sir?” Bannon asked, including quantum computing, artificial general intelligence, advanced chip design, and robotics.

“America is ahead on most of those, quantum computing excepted. We’ve got a little bit of time on that,” Allen said.

“This is not capitalism. What you see there is corporatism,” Bannon said.

Yesterday (5), Trump told the press that the US is NOT considering regime change in Venezuela.

This comes as the Department of War has sent additional 10 stealth fighter jets, increasing the military buildup in the Caribbean.

Trump was reacting to claims from Maduro that the United States was seeking ‘regime change through military threat’.

“’The government of the United States should abandon its plan of violent regime change in Venezuela and in all of Latin America and respect sovereignty, the right to peace, to independence’, Maduro said on state television.

‘I respect Trump. None of the differences we’ve had can lead to a military conflict’, Maduro added. ‘Venezuela has always been willing to converse, to dialogue’.”

Israeli intelligence data: Militants account for only 1 in 4 Gaza detainees

A classified Israeli army database indicates that the vast majority of the 6,000 Palestinians who have been arrested in Gaza and held in appalling conditions in Israeli detention are civilians, a joint investigation finds.

Only one in four Palestinians captured by Israeli forces in Gaza were identified by the army as militants, with civilians making up the vast majority of “unlawful combatants” detained in Israeli prisons since October 7, a joint investigation by +972 Magazine, Local Call, and the Guardian can reveal.

This is what emerges from figures obtained from a classified database managed by Israel’s Military Intelligence Directorate (known by the Hebrew acronym “Aman”), in addition to official Israeli prison statistics disclosed in legal proceedings. Testimonies from former Palestinian detainees and Israeli soldiers who served in detention facilities further indicate that Israel has knowingly abducted civilians en masse and held them for long periods in appalling conditions.

Detention figures cited by the state in May in response to High Court petitions revealed that a total of 6,000 Palestinians had been arrested in Gaza during the first 19 months of the war and held in Israel under a law for incarcerating “unlawful combatants” — a legal tool that allows Israel to imprison people indefinitely, without charge or trial, if there are “reasonable grounds” to believe they participated in “hostile activities against the State of Israel” or that they are a member of a group that has.

Tom Hanks snubbed at last moment from West Point event after Trump's explosive Department of War order

A West Point alumni event honoring Tom Hanks was scrapped on the day President Donald Trump officially changed the name of the Department of Defense back to the Department of War.

Trump explained Friday that he instituted the rebrand because the Pentagon got 'very politically correct or wokey' and the U.S. was not winning wars.

That day, a West Point alumni group announced the cancelation of an awards ceremony that was meant to have taken place September 25 to garland Hanks, who is a veterans advocate but never served in the the military himself.

The prize he would have gotten was the Sylvanus Thayer Award, which the West Point Association of Graduates gives to non-alumni who 'draw wholesome comparison' to the military academy's motto: 'Duty, Honor, Country.'

Retired Army Col. Mark Bieger, the president and CEO of the organization, announced in an email to members that they were scuttling their tribute to Hanks - who was recently slammed on social media for portraying a Trump supporter as a dimwitted racist on Saturday Night Live.

'This decision allows the Academy to continue its focus on its core mission of preparing cadets to lead, fight, and win as officers in the world’s most lethal force, the United States Army,' he wrote, according to the Washington Post.
