After Months of Citizen Protests, UK Will Close ‘Migrant Hotels’ and Move Illegals to Military Barracks

The scourge of unchecked mass migration has hit the United Kingdom in such strong fashion that the British people rose up in protests and near-revolt, leading the Labour leftists to at least appear to be doing something to quell the chaos.

The reported targets at this point are the 4-star hotels where the military-age male invaders are held on the taxpayers’ dime.

Today (7), we learn that migrants in ‘asylum-seeker’ hotels are to be moved into barracks on former military bases.

New Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood is expected to soon announce the changes, after reportedly being instructed by embattled Prime Minister Keir Starmer to ‘get a grip’ on the ‘small boats’ invasion.

The Telegraphs reported:

“Dozens of asylum hotels are to be closed after they became the focal points for nationwide protests against illegal migration.

The Telegraph understands ministers are also close to agreeing on a ‘one in, one out’ returns deal with Germany, having already sealed one with France.

On Sunday, [Defense Secretary] John Healey confirmed he is considering using military sites to house asylum seekers temporarily.”

Meanwhile, the arrivals are intensifying.

Sky News reported:

“Defense Secretary John Healey has told Sky News the government is considering using military barracks to house asylum seekers, as 1,097 people arrived in the UK on small boats on Saturday.

‘We are looking at the potential use of military and non-military sites for temporary accommodation for the people who come across on these small boats that may not have a right to be here’, he told Sunday Morning With Trevor Phillips.

‘I’m looking really hard at it. I’m looking at it with the Home Office, and I recognize that the loss of confidence of the public over recent years in Britain’s ability to control its borders needs to be satisfied. And we have to deal with this problem with the small boats’, Mr. Healey added.”

President Trump smoked a “second rate” reporter, telling her to “be quiet” after she accused him of “threatening” Chicago with war and interrupted him.

This comes afterPresident Trump set the internet ablaze and triggered leftists on Saturday after posting a meme, which portrayed him leading the National Guard in Chicago, describing the scene as “Chipocalypse Now.”

“I love the smell of deportations in the morning… Chicago about to find out why it’s called the Department of WAR,” the meme read.

Illinois Governor JB Pritzker responded, claiming that the meme was a legitimate threat to “go to war with an American city.”

Pritzker had already accused the Department of Homeland Security of planning to "invade" his city on Friday as the Trump Administration plans federal law enforcement operations and potential National Guard deployment in the Windy City after at least 14 were killed and nearly 100 injured in shootings over the last two weekends.

Over 300 Homeland Security agents have been stationed at Great Lakes Naval Base in Chicago.

Idiotic leftist NBC correspondent Yamiche Alcindor repeated the leftist talking point that Trump is actually declaring war on Chicago, and he humiliated her.

"We're going to clean up our cities. We're going to clean them up so they don't kill five people every weekend," he said. "That's not war. That's common sense."

Border Czar Tom Homan joined CNN’s Jake Tapper on Sunday morning to discuss the incoming Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) raids in Chicago and responded to leftist outrage over President Trump’s post about war and deportations in Chicago.

As The Gateway Pundit reported, President Trump set the internet ablaze and triggered leftists on Saturday after posting a meme, which portrayed him leading the National Guard in Chicago, describing the scene as “Chipocalypse Now.”

“I love the smell of deportations in the morning… Chicago about to find out why it’s called the Department of WAR,” the meme read.

The Trump Administration has been planning federal law enforcement operations and potential National Guard deployment in the Windy Cityafter at least 14 were killed and nearly 100 injured in shootings over the last two weekends.

It was recently revealed that 200 or more Department of Homeland Security (DHS) officials would be deployed in the sanctuary city of Chicago to carry out deportations. The National Guard may also be deployed as a deterrent to rioters and criminals.

Homan doubled down on the President's Saturday meme post, saying that while "his words are being taken out of context," the Trump Administration is, in fact, "going to war with the criminal cartels."

"We're going to war with illegal aliens, public safety threats, that rape children, that raped citizens, that committed armed robberies, that distribute narcotics that kill Americans. We're at war with the criminal cartels, and Governor Pritzker protects criminal illegal alien public safety threats every day in that state, along with Mayor Johnson," he added.

"Yeah, we're at war with the criminal cartels and those who want to murder and rape American citizens. You're damn right."

Homan confirmed that National Guard deployment is "always on the table" as a "force multiplier" for immigration enforcement operations. He further stated that we can expect to see action in Chicago and "most sanctuary cities across the country," starting this week, as the Administration targets sanctuary cities.

Previously,White House Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller said that Democratic Sanctuarty city leaders should face "numerous felony charges" for harboring and concealing illegals after they ignored a deadline set by the Department of Justiceto comply with Homeland Security and ICE. This was after Attorney General Pam Bondi sent letters to the mayors of several sanctuary cities containing an ultimatum that they commit to complying with the Trump Administration’s efforts to enforce federal immigration law or face consequences.

Tapper: Maybe it should say criminal aliens in Chicago are about to find out why it's called the Department of War, not Chicago itself. But let me ask you, we keep hearing the president's going to send National Guard troops into Chicago. It has not yet happened. Help clear this up for me: Is the President talking about sending National Guard troops and other federal troops into Chicago to handle deportations or to handle violent criminals, or both, like you just referred to violent criminals who are in this country illegally? What is the operation going to look like? Will it happen this week?

Homan: National Guard are always on the table. We use them in Los Angeles, and we use them in Washington, DC. They're a force multiplier. Now, do they arrest illegal aliens? No. ICE officers, Border Patrol agents, who have Title 8 authority, arrest illegal criminal aliens.

Tapper: So, should we expect action in Chicago this week?

Homan: Absolutely you can expect action in most sanctuary cities across the country. President Trump's prioritized sanctuary cities because sanctuary cities knowingly release illegal alien public safety threats to the streets every day. That's where the problem is. We don't have that problem in Florida, where every sheriff and chief works for us, right? Or Texas, so we've got to send additional resources to the problem areas, which are sanctuary
