I was confused about this (taught to trust) the entire time because thankfully I was never taught to trust church leaders. God does not dwell in a house made with hands.

I thought you meant doctors and police. Both of which I have first hand experience and know for a fact you cannot trust.

The only people I have been taught to trust is my parents.

Anybody that has ever read and understood the Ten Commandments should already know that the Catholic church is a fraud and Satanic.
