It's time to start locking up some of these schizos. Having them on the streets simply doesn't work. They are doing so much property damage that it would be cheaper to have them institutionalized. Safer too.

Many of these hobos consume drugs worth several months of drug-value in a few days. It's not about the money. They are hopelessly chronically insane and they can only get worse. You can't reason with a schizo using drugs or therapy. As a matter of fact there's research showing that schizos get better without drugs than with drugs. The "hurr muh medication"-meme needs to stop.
Either they get removed off the streets or life becomes radically more miserable for everyone. Pick one and grow up.

Charlotte Mayor Vi Lyles is coming under fire for her woke comments calling for compassion for the deranged vagrant who is accused of viciously murdering a Ukrainian refugee on a train in the city last month.
“This is a tragic situation that sheds light on problems with society safety nets related to mental healthcare and the systems that should be in place,” Lyles wrote in a statement to WSOC-TV reporter Joe Bruno at the time.
The Democrat added that the alleged perpetrator, Decarlos Brown Jr. “appears to have suffered a crisis.”
She claimed that the Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS) where the savage caught-on-video killing took place is “by and large a safe transit system” — despite the unprovoked stabbing of Iryna Zarutska on her way home from work.
Video shows the madman unfolding a knife and preparing to attack an unsuspecting Zarutska as she fiddled with her phone, earbuds in.
“We will never arrest our way out [of] issues such as homelessness and mental health,” she wrote.

My conclusion so far is that this was an insane act from a freak mental crazy man. No matter how I twist and dig this it always concludes to the same thing. I tried to get some pizzagate shit out of this but its dry as stone. This was all a brutal tragedy everything considered.
