Florida to Become First State to End All Vaccine Mandates, Including in Schools

All states currently have vaccine requirements to attend public schools, though exceptions vary by state. Florida is among the states that already allow parents to object to vaccines on religious grounds.

Florida Surgeon General Joseph Ladapo said, “The Florida Department of Health, in partnership with the governor, is going to be working to end all vaccine mandates in Florida law, all of them. All of them. Every last one of them.” He said that government does not have the right to tell people what to put in their bodies.
