What type of bullet was used? I am not asking what caliber of bullet, but what did the tip look like? Nosler? Ballistic? Ball? Also, what grain was the bullet?
As far as I know, we have no idea, but they damage they do is different. The bullet hit soft flesh in the neck area, so I imagine that the shock did quite a bit of internal damage, but I do not see the bullet expanding or fragmenting much while going through his neck. It looked like he had blood coming out of his right ear, but that is probably from hemorrhaging.
I have hunted a lot and I use a .30-06, so I have seen plenty of wounds.
