Silicon Valley tech is basically using all of the San Francisco Bay Area residents as guinea pigs and lab rats. Tons of money is going into tearing up the streets: reducing traffic lanes and replacing them with useless bike lanes. They are basically eliminating sidewalks and making them streets for e scooters, scooters, e skateboards, e bikes and bikes. These people want all stop signs and red lights taken out. They have even attempted to "redesign" the streets of San Francisco. They are not from here. They cannot figure out that we have HILLS here and that cannot be changed. Today they proposed taking one of the hills out because natives can walk it, but cyclists get winded, just like tourists, trying to bike up it. People are getting severely injured by cyclists that follow no laws, e scooters on sidewalks. They want to take out streetcars, too, because they are in the way of bike lanes. And taxis. Taxis will never go away. They are a bunch of nuts. And of course, a lot of the contracting bids are highly suspicious, as is the steel. There is no plan. They just throw things together with no connection. They are afraid the infrastructure money from the feds will go away. They want high density housing around all the new "Smart" train platforms. None of it is working. But. they just keep going. The communities are getting fed up. Video is about the fires. Remember: construction contracts, high speed rail bringing service workers into elite lib areas, and federal infrastructure money. There is no money for bike lanes. So they call these bikes, "pedestrian and cyclist safety projects." But they are strictly for the bikes and often just eliminate a sidewalk and give it to the cyclists, who are complaining about the e scooters and e bikes. It's a mess. Half the homeless in San Francisco are displaced natives, uprooted by outside investors flipping apartment buildings.
