Call me cynical, but am I the only one who gets side-eye strain every time another anti-immigration protest takes over London’s streets? At this point, it feels less like a grassroots uprising and more like a recurring stage play. But who’s the director?

Yes, yes, we know there’s a problem. Our overlords know it too. That’s why they don’t even bother anymore to pretend that they’re “managing” it. Instead, they’re desperately trying to sweep the whole mess under a rug and hoping that nobody notices the bulge.

Just a decade ago, the idea of British politicians ringing up African nations like, “Hey lads, we’ve got a few too many imports. Want to warehouse them for us until we figure out what the hell we’re doing?” would’ve been unthinkable. But that’s exactly what the Rwanda deal was. A political yard sale of asylum seekers. And now the EU has been trying to copy the trend. Outsourcing responsibility is the new badge of enlightened statesmanship. The EU can’t agree on what time to break for lunch, but when it comes to dumping migrants on poorer nations, suddenly it’s kumbaya time.

Labour Prime Minister Keir Starmer had tried clinging to the ideological fantasy of the establishment left: looking out across Britain and seeing a beautiful rainbow of cultures, conveniently airbrushed of crime stats and housing shortages. When he took office last year, he smugly declared his Tory predecessors’ deportation plan “dead and buried.” Oh, how quickly the corpse has been exhumed! Now he is floating the idea of “return hubs” in foreign countries for asylum seekers.

Why the U-turn? Maybe it has something to do with Nigel Farage’s Reform UK party currently polling at 35% – a record 15-point lead over Starmer’s Labour. Self-preservation always trumps virtue signaling. And nothing shifts a politician’s priorities like the sound of voters measuring you for a political coffin.

Starmer clearly understands that either the migrants go, or he does. The luxury of “demographic suicide” policies only exists when your population is oblivious enough to shrug and go back to scrolling. That’s no longer the case in Britain. Or Canada. Or France. Or Germany. Basically, anywhere leaders tried to play open-border humanitarians while voters footed the bill in more ways than one.

So the next time you see Tommy Robinson waving a flag and shouting about saving Britain, perhaps keep in mind that it’s less “God Save the King” and more “Bibi Saving the Brand.” Unless, of course, that happens to suit you.

Canadian city forces removal of billboards warning against GENDER PROCEDURES for children

In a move that has reignited debates over free speech and child welfare, the city of St. Catharines in Canada's Ontario province pressured the removal of billboards warning against gender transition procedures for minors after backlash from LGBT activists.

Enzo De Divitiis, chairperson of the LGBT group, defended the removal. He claimed that the billboards by ARPA Canada fostered a "hostile environment" for transgender individuals.

ARPA Canada Executive Director Mike Schouten condemned the removal as "political censorship," emphasizing that the city had no jurisdiction over the privately owned billboard space. "Instead of shutting down dialogue, we should be engaging with the evidence and listening to those who have been harmed by these interventions," he said.

The incident follows a similar controversy in the city of Hamilton, also in Ontario. Hamilton Mayor Andrea Horwath ordered identical billboards from ARPA removed from city property. The Christian group is now pursuing legal action against Hamilton, arguing that suppressing dissenting viewpoints violates constitutional freedoms.

National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir said Monday that he wants to build a “luxurious” neighborhood for Israel Police officers over the ruins of the Gaza Strip, earning applause from high-ranking officials at a Rosh Hashanah toast in Beit Shemesh.

“We will finish the mission, occupy Gaza,” the far-right leader asserted Monday morning to the crowd, seated in a large auditorium in the city’s National Police Academy.

Once that is achieved, “we want to establish a neighborhood of police officers also in Gaza,” he said forcefully. “On the seashore, all [will be] perfect,” he added to a smattering of applause.

He described the envisioned neighborhood as “luxurious,” with high-rise buildings

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has insisted his government is not pursuing the resettlement of Gaza, despite Ben Gvir and others in his cabinet vocally pushing for it.

“The time has come to settle — Jewish settlement, the time has come to encourage voluntary emigration [of Gazans], the time has come to bring the death penalty for terrorists,” Ben Gvir continued.

What they are buying is influence without responsibility, power without accountability, and the pattern is spreading.

Every cycle the sums get larger, the reach gets wider, and the press reports the totals with a grin, as if fundraising itself were the goal, yet the deeper you look the less it resembles democracy and the more it resembles managed control. Out-of-state donors flood primaries, drive out challengers, and tilt the field before voters have even begun to weigh the options, and the effect is cumulative, a corrosion that spreads silently until one day local politics is not local at all.

Gaza doctors find disturbing pattern of gunshot wounds in head and chest among children

International doctors working in Gaza have reported a disturbing pattern of gunshot wounds among children, raising concerns of deliberate targeting, according to an investigation published Saturday by the Dutch daily de Volkskrant.

The newspaper spoke with 17 doctors and a nurse from the US, UK, Australia, Canada and the Netherlands who worked in six hospitals and four clinics in Gaza since October 2023. Many had long experience in crisis zones, including Sudan, Afghanistan and Ukraine.

Fifteen of them told de Volkskrant they treated at least 114 children aged 15 or younger with a single gunshot wound to the head or chest. Most of those children died of their injuries. The cases were documented between late 2023 and mid-2025 in 10 different medical facilities.

One of the doctors, US trauma surgeon Feroze Sidhwa, recalled his first day at the European Hospital in Gaza in March 2024, where he found four boys under 10 with identical head wounds within 48 hours, according to the report.

"How is it possible that here in this small hospital, within 48 hours, four children have come in who were shot in the head?" he told the paper. Over the following 13 days, he encountered nine more children with similar wounds.

Sidhwa later met a colleague who confirmed seeing the same injuries "almost every day" in another hospital. "That was the moment I decided: I have to find out what is happening here," he said.

Doctors interviewed stressed that such injuries were unlikely to be accidental. Forensic experts consulted by the newspaper said the uniform pattern suggested aimed fire, possibly by snipers or drones.

Israel has consistently denied accusations that its forces deliberately target civilians, including children.

The physicians quoted described the moral dilemma they face: speaking out could mean being barred from returning to Gaza.

According to the UN, Israel has denied entry to more than 100 international health workers since March 2025 without a detailed explanation.

Still, many insist silence is no longer an option. "Not talking is not an option anymore," one doctor told de Volkskrant.

An Australian pilot killed in a lightplane crash in Brazil with 200kg of SpaceX-branded cocaine onboard had operated businesses that were major stockholders in several mining and energy companies.

Timothy James Clark, 46, was flying over Coruripe, on the coast of the Alagoas region in Brazil's remote north-east, when his plane crashed into a sugarcane field about 1.30pm on Sunday.

Clark, the sole occupant of the aircraft, died at the scene. Local authorities are investigating whether he had been travelling an international drug route.

Daily Mail Australia can reveal Clark, who was from Lilydale in Melbourne's eastern outskirts, was the director and secretary of a number of investment businesses that operated in Australia over the past few decades.

His companies included Stock Assist Group Pty Ltd and Gurney Capital Nominees Pty Ltd (which both remain registered with ASIC), Tjc Nominees Pty Ltd (which was cancelled in July), and Bluenergy Asia Pty Ltd and Tick-Tack-Toe Pty Ltd (deregistered in 2021 and 2018 respectively).

Stock Assist Group owned millions of dollars worth of shares in Western Australian mining company Victory Mines and underwrote millions more in Classic Minerals, according to stockholder reports.

This year, the business offered to pump $5million into Classic Minerals in a share issue as it struggled with revenue and costs.

Back in 2012, Tick-Tack-Toe Pty Ltd also pledged $6million to Marion Energy, an Australian natural gas exploration company predominantly operating in the United States.

Jacinta Allan has been scalded for flying to Beijing for five days of trade talks after her predecessor Daniel Andrews' controversial appearance at Tiananmen Square.

The current Victorian Premier touched down in the Chinese capital on Monday ahead of five-day trip to secure the state's supply of international students and investment.

Though Allan will cap the first day of her visit by launching Victoria's new China strategy, the trip has so far been overshadowed by Andrews' recent visit.

Speaking in Beijing, Allan said she had shared 'many conversations' with Albanese on the subject and his government was well aware of Victoria's position.
