Minnesota Gov Tim Walz running for third term

Minnesota Democrat Gov. Tim Walz announced Tuesday that he is running for a third term in office next year.
“I’ve always tried to do what’s right for Minnesota,” Walz said in his campaign launch video, The Hill news outlet reported. “And I’ll never stop fighting to protect us from the chaos, corruption, and cruelty coming out of Washington.”
In the video, Walz remembered Democratic state Sen. Melissa Hortman, who was killed in a shooting earlier this year.
