What's happening in Gaza now, reduced to human scale:
My psycho neighbor has kidnapped one of my kids and has been torturing and starving him for TWO YEARS.
After having looked all over his yard (none too delicately, but I did bring him food for his kids because he'son welfare since forever), I'm now going into his house to look for my child. Before it's too late.
He's holding his own children over the 3d floor balustrade and screaming
"if you come for your kid, I'll be dropping mine from the roof and then I'll behead yours".
And instead of helping me subdue him and take his kid to a safe place, the world is telling me to apologize.
