I just received this from a student at

.This is what the memorial they painted for Charlie looks like now after deranged leftists vandalized it.

Not only do they celebrate his murder, but they don’t want us to celebrate his life.

Leftists only destroy.

A large rock painted with an American flag design and text reading "If you believe in something you need to have the courage to fight for those ideas—not run away from them or silence them Charlie Kirk 1993-2025." A woman with a ponytail wearing a plaid shirt kneels beside it. Another image shows the same rock painted red with a black raised fist and "BLM" written in black.

Suspect sought after car rams FBI gate in potential 'act of terror,' official says

The suspect, whom the FBI said may be dangerous, was being sought.

Suspect sought after car rams fence at FBI office in PittsburghDonald Henson, of Penn Hills, Pennsylvania, allegedly drove at a high rate of speed toward the main entrance gate at about 2:40 a.m., FBI Special Agent in Charge Christopher Giordano told the media.WTAE

A Pennsylvania man drove his car into a metal gate at the FBI building in Pittsburgh early on Wednesday, aramming that federal law enforcement officials described as intentional, saying the man was being sought as a suspect.

Donald Henson, of Penn Hills, allegedly drove at a high rate of speed toward the main entrance gate at about 2:40 a.m., FBI Special Agent in Charge Christopher Giordano said during a press briefing.

"We look at this as an act of terror against the FBI,"Giordano said. "This was a targeted attack on this building. Thankfully no one was hurt, but we are going to exhaust every ability we have under the federal law to find, apprehend and prosecute this subject to the fullest extent."

There was "some vulgarity" scrawled on the side of the vehicle, the FBI said. The full details of what was written were not immediately clear,Giordano said, adding that there appeared to be a reference to suicide.

He said the suspect fled the scene and it was believed that he may be dangerous. It was not immediately clear if Henson was armed, the FBI said.

Henson is the registered owner of the vehicle, Giordano said. The FBI compared surveillance video with Henson’s drivers license photo to further identify him, Giordano said, adding that he also had been identified as a former military member. He said Henson may have been experiencing a mental health issue.

After the crash, Henson allegedly exited the car, took an American flag out of the trunk and stuck it on the gate, the FBI said.

Images from the scene captured by ABC News affiliate WTAE appeared to show a white sedan sitting with a door ajar in front of a damaged metal gate near a security booth.

A spokesperson from the Pittsburgh Police Department told ABC News that officers responded to the 3300 block of E. Carson Street for a reported vehicle collision at about 3 a.m. on Wednesday. The vehicle collided with a gate outside of the building, before the driver exited the vehicle and fled the scene, the spokesperson said.

The FBI is leading the ongoing investigation, the police said. The FBI was working with the local U.S. Attorneys Office to draft a complaint against Henson, Giordano said.

Henson had come to the FBI Pittsburgh office within the last few weeks to make a complaint, Giordano said, adding it "didn't make a whole lot of sense."

"We contacted him and let him know that there was no federal crime we were able to charge," he said.

Charlie Kirk’s Pastor Rebukes Candace Owens for Haunting Kirk Family With Conspiracy Theories

Isaac SchorrSep 16th, 2025, 4:27 pm

Charlie Kirk’s pastor is speaking out about Candace Owens’s peddling of conspiracies in the wake of Kirk’s assassination.

In a statement relayed to the public by a number of people, including TheBabylon Bee’s Joel Berry, Rob McCoy said the following:

Charlie Kirk was my friend and I was his pastor.I want to simply say this regarding Candace Owens: Charlie Kirk was a friend to Candace and never publicly spoke poorly of her though he disagreed with her. He never operated nor entertained gossip or innuendo concerning Candace.

My only comment I offer regarding Candace is this:I only wish at this tragic time of mourning she would be the friend to Charlie that he was to her. He would never have treated Candace or her family in such a way had God forbid this tragedy been hers

“A friend loves at all times…” Proverbs 17:17

Owens has suggested that Kirk, a longtime supporter of Israel, was beginning to have “rational thoughts about Israel” in the months before his death, and submitted that billionaire activist Bill Ackman made threats against Kirk as a result.

“Bill Ackman was very upset and threats were made. That is what I am told, and I will tell you that I am very happy for Bill Ackman to dispute this narrative,” said Owens on her show.

Both Ackman and Andrew Kolvet, the executive producer of The Charlie Kirk Show, have done just that.

“I have been asked about the Bill Ackman event more than a few times now so I asked our staff who were traveling with Charlie to find out what’s true and what’s not. His team was with him ‘100% of the time when he wasn’t in his hotel room,'” wrote Kolvet on X. “Here’s what they told me: ‘Bill never yelled at Charlie, never pressed him on Bibi [Netanyahu], never gave him a list of Charlie’s offenses against Israel.’ There was concern raised about having Tucker [Carlson]at SAS (we don’t believe this came from Bill) and Charlie’s reply was: ‘Honestly, people telling me not to have Tucker makes me want to have Tucker, and I am going to lock him in for AmFest too.’ Charlie personally told me he had a very cordial relationship with Bill, and the event was productive.”

“FWIW, I spoke to all three team members, not counting security, who were with him, because I wanted to make sure one person hadn’t missed the alleged incident, etc.,” he added.

Owens has also quote-tweeted a post about Carlson criticizing Netanyahu, captioning it “All will be revealed,” warned her followers to “Be very wary and suspicious of the people who are already telling us to stop asking questions about the Charlie Kirk assassination,” and speculated that authorities had intentionally allowed Kirk’s killer to evade capture.

Grassley Questions FBI Director About Expanded “Arctic Frost” FBI Target List

September 16, 2025 | Sundance |

During questioning today, Senate Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassley questioned FBI Director Kash Patel about additional information gathered by Grassley’s staff about FBI operation “Arctic Frost.”

Arctic Frost should not be a surprise to Treehouse readers as we previously outlined the operation in March of this year. Arctic Frost was an investigation of President Trump and ALL supporters of Donald Trump in the aftermath of the fraudulent 2020 election. [SEE HERE]

Operation Arctic Frost was the highly political FBI investigation that issued search warrants including to the Twitter platform for the records of all followers and users of the platform who were associated with the account of President Trump.

Arctic-Frost-1.jpg

As previously outlined, Elon Musk complied with the DOJ/FBI subpoena releasing the identity of all user accounts who liked, followed, retweeted or engaged the Twitter account of President Donald J Trump. All of the banking records for Trump supporter groups were also subpoenaed including Charlie Kirk and Turning Point USA [SEE HERE]

It’s a little odd for FBI Director Kash Patel to sit in front of Grassley who is outlining an example of the institutional corruption within the agency, while Democrats on the senate committee are questioning Kash Patel about adverse impacts to the corrupt institutional participants.

You can read the target list of Arctic Frost HERE

Senator Chuck Grassley just announced that a FBI whistleblower revealed to him an FBI project called "Artic Frost" that targeted groups like Charlie Kirks TPUSA!

This is a BOMBSHELL!

He says that they are releasing those documents TODAY!

"In total, 92 Republican targets, including Republican groups and Republican linked individuals were placed under investigative scope of Arctic Frost."

"On that political list was one of Charlie Kirk‘s groups, turning point usa. In other words, arctic frost wasn‘t just a case to politically investigate Trump."

"It was the vehicle by which partisan FBI agents and Department of Justice prosecutors could achieve their partisan ends and improperly investigate the entire Republican political apparatus."

"So, today Senator Johnson and I are making these records public for the entire country to see. I hope a lot of people are interested in seeing what government can do when various agencies have a political agenda

Pictures: President Trump Welcomed to Windsor by King Charles

Oliver JJ Lane17 Sep 2025

President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump arrived at Windsor Park aboard Marine One on Wednesday afternoon, where they were greeted by the King and Queen before climbing aboard a line of horse-drawn Royal coaches for the ride to the historic castle.

Donald Trump grinned broadly as he was greeted by William and Kate, the Prince and Princess of Wales at the steps of Marine One after it touched down in the walled garden at Frogmore on Wednesday. Minutes later, President Trump and First Lady Melania were met by the King and Queen, for the first formalities of this week’s State Visit to the United Kingdom.

Already unprecedented in being the second State Visit for a foreign head of state to Britain, today’s events feature a number of other unusual events includingthe carriage drive through Windsor Park to the 1,000-year-old Windsor Castle. It is the first time a U.S.President has been in a Royal Coach in many years, given for security reasons they normally only ever travel in ‘The Beast’ armoured Presidential Limousine, or heavily-protected aircraft.

Also unusual is the scope of the visit. President Trump and his Wife Melania are not the only ones to get the Royal treatment, but several senior members of Trump’s government have been included too, including Marco Rubio and Scott Bessentwho were also conducted in Royal horse-drawn coaches behind the President and King, who rode together.

As the procession of carriages went through the Park theypassed the Royal Band which played both The Star-Spangled Banner and God Save The King for the lead coach.

The carriages were driven into the courtyard of Windsor Castle where President Trump was invited to inspect the guard of honour, drawn up of ceremonially-uniformed troops of the Guards regiments. President Trump saluted from the dais besides King Charles III as the massed bands played, again, the U.S.-anthem.

Having inspected the guard, the President, First Lady, and King and Queen went inside the Castle for a private lunch in the State Dining Room. After that, President Trump is due to privately lay a wreath on the tomb of Queen Elizabeth II, who hosted him on his last state visit to the United Kingdom.

Tonight the centrepiece of thevisit is to be the state banquet at the Castle. A formal white tie affair and the highest honour bestowed, the meal is given in honour of the President and will see Trump and King Charles III give speeches and toasts.

Tomorrow is a political rather than Royal day and will see President Trump travel to the UK Prime Minister’s country retreat for bilateral talks and meetings.

Makeshift memorial to Kirk and Zarutska appears in Moscow (VIDEO)

Photographs and candles were laid at the US Embassy for the slain American commentator and Ukrainian

A makeshift memorial to late conservative influencer Charlie Kirk, and murdered Ukrainian refugee Iryna Zarutska, has appeared outside the US Embassy in Moscow.

Kirk, 31, was murdered while speaking at a public event at Utah Valley University on September 10.

Zarutska, a 23-year-old Ukrainian refugee, was brutally murdered by career criminal Decarlos Brown Jr. on a North Carolina train last month. The graphic video of the unprovoked stabbing was released by the local transit system last week and spread rapidly across social media.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Kirk’s killing reflected the deep polarization of American society, while Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova suggested it was a premeditated crime.

Kirk gained notable respect in Russia for his defense of traditional family and opposition to LGBT ideology, positions that echo Moscow’s emphasis on what it calls the preservation of traditional values. His criticism of Western liberal agendas and open sympathy for Russia’s sovereignty over Crimea further aligned him with views widely held among Russians.

US President Donald Trump condemned both killings, blaming “radical left” forces for fueling political violence, and pledged to seek the death penalty for the perpetrators.

Four arrested after images of Trump and Epstein projected onto Windsor Castle

The incident occurred as the US president arrived in Britain for a state visit

UK police have arrested four people on suspicion of projecting images of US President Donald Trump and convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein onto Windsor Castle.

The incident occurred as Trump arrived in Britain for his second state visit on Tuesday evening. The president is scheduled to meet with King Charles III on Wednesday at the Windsor royal residence, west of London, according to Reuters.

The activist group Led by Donkeys claimed responsibility for the stunt, which also involved projecting Trump’s 2023 mugshot, taken after he was indicted for attempting to overturn the results of the 2020 presidential election.

=•“We take any unauthorized activity around Windsor Castle extremely seriously. Our officers responded swiftly to stop the projection, and four people have been arrested,” == Thames Valley Police Chief Superintendent Felicity Parker said in a statement.

Democrats and some Trump allies have accused the president of covering up the Epstein case, arguing that the disgraced financier kept a client list of powerful people he allegedly trafficked women to.

The FBI and the Justice Department have denied that a list exists, while Trump has said he ended his friendship with Epstein in the 2000s before he was aware of the allegations against him.

‘Russian drone attack’ damage was caused by Polish missile – media

A projectile fired from a NATO F-16 hit a residential building, Rzeczpospolita has reported

The only confirmed damage from what Poland claims was a Russiandrone incursion into its airspace was actually caused by a Polish missile fired from a NATO F-16 which struck a residential building, the Rzeczpospolita outlet has reported, citing sources.

Polish officials last week reported at least 19 violations of the country’s airspace by drones, saying up to four UAVs had been downed. Warsaw accused Moscow of being behind the incident. Russia has rejected the accusation and insisted its drones only strike Ukrainian military-related facilities.

Western leaders, according to Moscow, “accuse Russia of provocations on a daily basis, most often declining to offer any arguments.”

Rzeczpospolita reported on Tuesday that most of the drones involved in the incident were not carrying explosives and caused no damage. However, one exception was in the village of Wyryki Wola near the border with Belarus, where what was described by Poland as an “unidentified flying object” crashedinto a private home, damaging the roof but without causing casualties.

Western media reports claimed that the home had been hit by a Russian drone.Investigators have declined to say what exactly struck the building, only stating that the object was not identified as a drone.

Rzeczpospolita, however, cited sources in Poland’s security agencies as saying the object was in fact an AIM-120 AMRAAM air-to-air missile fired from a Polish F-16 jet.The missile reportedly suffered a guidance system malfunctionand did not explode only because its safety devices prevented detonation.

The missile, around three meters long and weighing over 150kg, is said to have struck the house after being fired in an attempt to shoot down a drone.

Polish Prime Minister DonaldTusk did not comment on the report but scrambled to take aim at Moscow. “The entire responsibility for the damage to the house in Wyryki rests with… Russia… Hands off Polish soldiers,” he said.

On Sunday, Tusk also complained that the drone incident had caused a wave of “antipathy towards a struggling Ukraine,” claiming, without proof, that this was being fueled by Moscow. He stressed that Warsaw’s goal is “to stem this tide,” portraying it as a “test of patriotism.”

https://www.rt.com/news/624813-russia-drone-damage-polish-missile/

So Poland caused the problem and then blamed Russia, as usual! How many Polish men are needed to change a lightbulb, three! One to screw the bulb in and two to hold the ladder!

Zelensky tells West to put Ukraine first

The Ukrainian leader has slammed the EU and US for their reluctance to impose more sanctions on Russia

Western states should put Ukraine’s needs above their own, Vladimir Zelensky has suggested, accusing the EU and US of dragging their feet on new sanctions against Russia.

Moscow has faced sweeping restrictions from Kiev’s Western backers since the Ukraine conflict escalated in 2022. The EU has adopted 18 sanctions packages and is debating its next measures. Since Donald Trump returned to the White House, Washington has been cautious about new measures amid a thaw with Moscow. Trump has warned, however, that he could turn to sanctions if the conflict persists.

In an interview with Sky News aired on Tuesday,Zelensky claimed deliberations about possible blowback from further sanctions were a “dangerous” waste of time.

“I believe that all countries need to stop thinking about themselves and their future relations with Russia, but instead think more about Ukraine, because it’s today and now,” he said. “This is very dangerous, and to be frank, dishonest.”

Zelensky said Trump’s call for European countries to cut Russian energy imports and impose tariffs on buyers such as China and India was understandable, but claimed the US must not wait for Brussels, which he accused of hiding behind bureaucracy.

“President Trump, I think, believes that if he were to apply all strong sanctions, he would close diplomacy with Russians… But we can’t wait for all European countries to stop relations with Russia,” he said. “All that’s lacking now is a strong sanctions package from the US.”

Zelensky also insisted that Kiev needs a “clear position” from Trump on sanctions and firm security guarantees before any settlement.

Trump has urged European countries to stop importing Russian oil and gas and pledged to then consider sanctions. He has also demanded the bloc impose steep tariffs on India and China, the top buyers of Russian crude. According to reports on Tuesday, the European Commission will delay its next sanctions package while members weigh how to meet Trump’s demands.

Moscow insists sanctions have been unable to harm its economy and that they will inevitably backfire. It says any settlement must include Ukrainian neutrality, demilitarization, and recognition of territorial changes, while security guarantees for Kiev are possible only after a final deal.

Russian President Vladimir Putin has said he is ready in principle to meet Zelensky and previously invited him to Moscow for talks, but Kiev rejected the idea as “deliberately unacceptable.”

EU delays new Russia sanctions indefinitely – Politico

The 19th package of restrictions has reportedly faced resistance from Hungary and Slovakia

The EU has postponed presenting its new package of sanctions against Russia, Politico has reported, citing several EU diplomats. The outlet attributed the delay to pressure from the Trump administration to impose even tougher restrictions on Moscow, which has elicited resistance from Slovakia and Hungary.

The proposed 19th package of measures targeting Russian oil exports and the banking sector over the Ukraine conflict was due to be presented on Wednesday. However, it has been dropped from the European Commission’s agenda indefinitely, several EU diplomats told Politico on Tuesday…

Canada names descendant of Ukrainian Nazi collaborator as special Ukraine envoy

Chrystia Freeland’s grandfather edited a Nazi propaganda newspaper during World War II, a fact she attempted to dismiss as “KGB propaganda”

Influential former Canadian finance minister, Chrystia Freeland, is set to become Ottawa’s special envoy for Ukraine, Prime Minister Mark Carney has announced.

Freeland, a granddaughter of a Nazi-collaborator who long denied awareness of his past, has long faced scrutiny over extensively documented evidence that her grandfather edited a Nazi propaganda newspaper during World War II, before he emigrated to Canada.

In a statement on Tuesday, Carney said that Freeland, one of the most prominent figures in Canadian politics for over a decade, who also held posts of International Trade Minister, Foreign Minister, and Transport Minister, has been offered a newly created job of Canada’s Special Representative for the Reconstruction of Ukraine, in addition to her responsibilities as an MP.

”Chrystia is truly uniquely positioned for this timely and essential work towards a better future for Ukrainians and peace in Europe,”he said, citing her “deep relationships and understanding of Ukraine and its economy.”

Carney did not provide any details of what Freeland’s position would entail.

In a separate statement, Freeland did not comment on her new role, but confirmed that she was leaving the cabinet and is not planning to run in the next election.

Commenting on the announcement, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova branded Freeland a “hardcore Russophobe,” adding thather appointment would only exacerbate the crisis in Ukraine.

Her family’s troubled legacy is well-documented. Her maternal grandfather, Michael Chomiak, edited the Krakivski Visti newspaper in Nazi-occupied Poland and Austria during WWII. The paper, according to the Los Angeles Holocaust Museum, was controlled by the Nazis and published Nazi propaganda and antisemitic material, including appeals supporting the German-approved SS “1st Galician Division,”composed mostly of ethnic Ukrainians and linked to the massacre of over 100,00 Poles.

For years, Freeland rejected any claims of Chomiak’s collaboration with the Nazis as “Russian disinformation,”although Canadian media, including The Globe and Mail, have reported she had known for decades about her grandfather’s work.

During her tenure, Freeland also applauded a known Nazi into the Canadian parliament, later denying knowledge that the man could have had the same lineage as her grandfather.

She also clashed with US President Donald Trump, who labeled her a “terrible person” and a “nasty woman.” When Freeland resigned from the cabinet of former Prime Minister Justin Trudeau in December, Trump celebrated the news, saying, “She will not be missed!!!!

Lindsey Graham threatens two NATO states over Russian oil

Hungary and Slovakia will face “consequences” if they fail to halt purchases, the Republican senator has warned

US Senator Lindsey Graham has threatened Hungary and Slovakia with consequences if they do not halt purchases of Russian oil.

The Republican from South Carolina issued the warning after President Donald Trump renewed calls for NATO states to end energy imports from Moscow, in apparent frustration over the pace of peace talks between Moscow and Kiev.

The president was “right to demand that Europe stop buying Russian oil,” Graham wrote on X on Monday. He conceded that the EU had largely done so, adding it was “now virtually down to Hungary and Slovakia… to step up to the plate soon.”

“If not, consequences should and will follow,”he warned.

The two countries blocked the EU’s 18th sanctions package in June, warning it threatened their energy security. Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto said the plan would prevent states from buying “cheap Russian natural gas and cheap Russian oil,”while Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico branded some proposals “economic suicide”without viable alternatives.

Brussels has pledged to phase out Russian fossil fuels by 2027, butHungary and Slovakia remain opposed to immediate restrictions, citing dependence on the Druzhba pipeline.

Kiev repeatedly struck the Druzhba pipeline in August, with Ukraine’s Vladimir Zelensky describing the attacks as “sanctions.”

The EU is currently drafting its 19th sanctions package, expected to target Russian oil exports and the banking sector. The measures, initially planned to be presented this week, have reportedly been delayed as Brussels debates how to respond to demands from Washington regarding Russian energy imports.

Russia has denounced Western sanctions as “illegal,” stating that they have not only failed to derail the national economy, but have provided an impetus for domestic development. Russian officials maintain they seek a long-term peace, accusing Kiev and its Western backers of undermining the process.

Zelensky ready to meet Putin without preconditions except one

The Ukrainian leader says he ready for talks with the Russian president with or without Trumpbut refuses to go to Moscow

Ukraine’s Vladimir Zelensky has said he is ready to meet either with Russian President Vladimir Putin alone or together with US President Donald Trump, “without conditions” but rejected a proposal to travel to Moscow for talks.

Putin has said he is ready in principle to meet Zelensky and suggested talks in Moscow, which Kiev rejected as “deliberately unacceptable.” At the same time, Putin has questioned Zelensky’s legitimacy and whether talks with him would be “meaningful.” Zelensky’s term expired in May 2024, but he has refused to hold elections, citing martial law. Trump has been pushing for direct talks between Zelensky and Putin and previously claimed that he would need to “intervene” personally to bring them together.

In an interview with Sky News released onTuesday, Zelensky said he is “ready to meet with President Trump and Putin trilaterally or bilaterally … without any kind of conditions.”

Asked whether he was prepared to travel to Moscow for talks at Putin’s invitation, Zelensky said no, calling it the capital of the country that “attacked” Ukraine.

Trump suggested holding a one-on-one meeting between the Ukrainian and Russian leaders first to allow them to exchange views directly before moving on to a broader summit.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said direct talks between Russia and Ukraine remain possible but are now “paused.” He noted negotiators can use existing channels, though no meetings are planned. The Foreign Ministry said a Putin-Zelensky summit could happen only once a proper agenda is set, while Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov added that it would require a “reasonable response” from Kiev to Moscow’s proposals.

Two senior Ukrainian commanders fired over battlefield losses – media

Top general Aleksandr Syrsky reportedly made the dismissals in light of recent Russian advances

Ukrainian Commander-in-Chief Aleksandr Syrsky has over the past two weeks fired two senior officers asKiev’s forces have continued to lose ground, Ukrainian and Russian outlets reported on Monday.

Ukrainskaya Pravda identified the commanders as Vladimir Silenko, who led the 17th Army Corps and Maksim Kituhin, who was in charge of the 20th Army Corps. The reports noted that the dismissals followed setbacks in Dnepropetrovsk Region and Russia’s Zaporozhye Region, where Russian forces have taken control of Kamenskoe and parts of Plavni, respectively.

RBC Ukraine cited the General Staff as confirming the dismissals, attributing the decision to “shortcomings in the management of troops,” which led to personnel losses and a retreat from defensive positions. Both Silenko and Kituhin have reportedly been reassigned.

Commenting on Syrsky’s action, Vladimir Rogov, a member of Russia’s Civic Chamber, told RIA Novosti thatthe Ukrainian top general was seeking “scapegoats” for his own failures. Rogov said the dismissed commanders had warned Syrsky of imminent Russian offensives, but their concerns were ignored.

Russia’s Defense Ministry has announced the capture of several settlements in recent days, including Olgovskoe in Zaporozhye. Russian Chief of the General Staff Valery Gerasimov has said thatMoscow’s troops now hold the strategic initiative, conducting a “non-stop offensive”along nearly the entire front.

Gerasimov reported at theend of August that Russian forces now control more than 70% of Zaporozhye Regionand three quarters of Kherson Region, in addition to nearly the whole of Donetsk and Lugansk.

Syrsky himself has recently admitted thatRussian troops outnumber Kiev’s forces by three to six times in key areas. He described August as a “month of great trials,” with Russian advances recorded in multiple directions.

Moscow has repeatedly said it remains open to a diplomatic settlement of the conflict but will continue its military campaign until the root causes of the hostilities are resolved. Russian officials insist that any peace deal must include Ukrainian neutrality, demilitarization, and recognition of the territories that joined Russia following referendums.

‘No place’ for EU in Ukraine talks – Lavrov

The bloc has embraced “revanchism” and is seeking to inflict a strategic defeat on Russia, the foreign minister has said

EU nations are trying to elbow their way into the Ukraine peace process despite their openly hostile stance toward Russia, Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has said, stressing that the bloc should be kept out of the talks for that reason.

Speaking at an embassy roundtable on the Ukraine crisis on Wednesday,Lavrov said that EU countries are “clearly trying, quite brazenly, to reclaim a place at the negotiating table.” The minister, however, signaled that they have no business there.

The bloc, he argued, maintains a “position of revanchism, of inflicting a strategic defeat on Russia” while debating a potential troop deployment to Ukraine in case of a ceasefire. “There is, of course, no place for it at the negotiating table,” he stressed.

Moscow has consistently opposed the deployment of any Western troops in the neighboring country under any pretext, saying that one of the key reasons for the conflict was NATO’s expansion towards Russia’s doorstep. It has also warned that any unauthorized foreign troops in Ukraine would be considered “a legitimate military target.”

Lavrov also noted that both the EU and Kiev are seeking to convince US President Donald Trump to abandon his push to settle the conflict and relapse into a stand-off with Russia.[They want], essentially, to turn Biden’s war into Trump’s war,” he said.

Since returning to office in January, Trump has been seeking to mediate an end to the Ukraine conflict, spearheading several rounds of talks with Russia. The effort culminated in a US-Russia summit in Alaska in mid-August — notably without EU or Ukrainian participation — which both sides described as highly productive.

Although no breakthrough was reached, Trump later said Ukraine could neither expect to join NATO nor reclaim Crimea, which voted to join Russia in a 2014 referendum held after a Western-backed coup in Kiev.He has also shifted focus from seeking a temporary ceasefire to pursuing a permanent peace settlement.

Zelensky has no intention of ending conflict with Moscow – MP

The Ukrainian leader wants “to fight to the last but with others doing the fighting,” Georgy Mazurashu has said

Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky has no intention of ending the hostilities with Russia, while ordinary people pay the price, Verkhovna Rada MP Georgy Mazurashu has said.

Mazurashu said Zelensky outlined his position at a meeting with members of his Servant of the People party on Tuesday,a stance the MP claimed is widely shared by the Ukrainian leader’s inner circle.

”At yesterday’s closed meeting…Zelensky, like other individuals exempt from military service, made it clear that he intends to fight to the last, but, of course, with others doing the fighting,”the deputy said in a video on his Telegram channel on Wednesday.

Ukraine’s mobilization drive, launched to refill depleted ranks amid heavy losses and Russia’s steady frontline advances, has become increasingly chaotic and violent, marred by abuse, injuries, and even deaths of conscripts. Mazurashu has previously called it a “shameful hunt for citizens.”

The MP said Zelensky estimated Ukraine would need another $120 billion to fund the armed forcesif the conflict drags into 2026, adding that the leader was “still unclear where to get” half of that sum. “And he now wants to focus on finding these funds – abroad, of course,” Mazurashu remarked.

Amid battlefield losses, Zelensky has pressed Western backers for more aid, tying it to the security guarantees he says Kiev needs before agreeing to any settlement. In a Sky News interview on Tuesday,he urged the West to put Ukraine’s needs above its own, boost financial and military support, and impose sanctions that would “really hurt” Russia’s economy.

Moscow has warned that foreign aid only prolongs the conflict. It says it does not oppose security guarantees for Kiev in principle, but insists they must follow a peace deal– one requiring Ukraine’s neutrality, demilitarization, and recognition of new territorial realities – not precede it.

On Wednesday, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov accused Kiev of sabotaging peace efforts, including mediation by US President Donald Trump. He said Washington understands the conflict cannot be resolved without addressing its root causes, while Kiev and its European backers refuse to do so.

Kid Rock Blasts Mainstream Media As 'Public Enemy Number One' Following Kirk Assassination

WEDNESDAY, SEP 17, 2025 - 08:25 AM

Authored by Steve Watson via Modernity.news,

Musician and outspoken conservative Kid Rock has labelled the mainstream media as “public enemy number one” in the aftermath of conservative activist Charlie Kirk’s shocking murder…

In an interview with Fox News’ Jesse Watters, Rock argued that inflammatory rhetoric from outlets like The New York Times and other “nut houses” has fueled dangerous narratives.

“I’ve said it and I’ll say it again… The mainstream media is the fricking public enemy number one right now,” he declared, further noting that repeated labels of “racist” and “Nazi” directed at conservatives like himself and Kirk incite unstable individuals to violence.

Drawing from personal experience, Rock noted, “They’ve called me a racist Nazi for years now… Go look up the few facts about my life.”

He described how such echoes build up, influencing “nut house kids” who spend their time “playing video games, watching these occult movies that are all over our streaming services” instead of engaging in productive activities.

These individuals, he said, end up thinking, “I’m going to go kill a Nazi, I’ma go kill a racist,” leading to tragic outcomes like Kirk’s death.

Rock, a longtime Trump supporter, warned that the media is “incentivizing these loner kids to take shots so that they can be heroes.”

He criticized the cycle where, after violence, calls for unity quickly dissolve into more divisive language, with conservatives again branded as “fascists.”

Shifting to a broader message, Rock emphasized restraint but issued a stark warning to those celebrating Kirk’s death or vandalizing vigils: “You’re gonna keep it up, you’re gonna run into the wrong people.”

“It’s not gonna be pretty. It’s gonna be very ugly, terrible,” he further urged.

The musician stressed the need for dialogue, saying,“We gotta start listening to each other and respect one another,” while acknowledging extremists exist on both sides but pointing to the left’s “echo chamber” as particularly problematic.

Rock highlighted the need for de-escalationwhile holding the media accountable for escalating rhetoric.

UK, US Sign $42 Billion Tech Deal To Boost AI Partnership

Authored by Aldgra Fredly via The Epoch Times,

The United Kingdom and the United States struck a technology pact on Sept. 16 that would bring $42 billion in investments from U.S. tech giants into the UK’s AI infrastructure.

The deal was reached as President Donald Trump arrived in the UK for a two-day state visit, during which he is expected to meet King Charles and British Prime Minister Keir Starmer.

Under the “Tech Prosperity Deal,” the two nations agreed to cooperate in advancing AI, quantum computing, and nuclear technology, according to a statement issued by the UK government.

Major U.S. tech companies—Microsoft, Nvidia, Google, OpenAI, and CoreWeave—will invest in the UK’s AI infrastructure, including data centers and computer chips, as part of the agreement.

The deal is expected to generate more than 5,000 jobs in the northeast of England, which the UK government said will become a new AI growth zone.

The two countries will collaborate on research schemes to further the use of AI to allow for “targeted treatments and other shared priorities like fusion energy,” according to the statement.

This could lead to “life-changing breakthroughs like developing targeted treatments for those suffering with cancer or rare and chronic diseases,” the UK government said.

“This Tech Prosperity Deal marks a generational step change in our relationship with the U.S., shaping the futures of millions of people on both sides of the Atlantic, and delivering growth, security and opportunity up and down the country,”Starmer said.

The deal includes a $30 billion investment from Microsoft over four years, its largest commitment in the UK.

The company stated in a blog post that the funding will help develop the country’s “largest supercomputer,” which will be equipped with more than 23,000 advanced AI chips.

Under the U.S.–UK tech pact, Nvidia will partner with UK companies to deploy 120,000 advanced GPU chips across the country, marking its largest rollout in Europe to date, according to the statement.

“Today marks a historic chapter in U.S. – United Kingdom technology collaboration,”Nvidia founder and CEO Jensen Huang said.

OpenAI said it will team up with British company Nscale and Nvidia to launch a Stargate UK project to boost the UK’s sovereign computing capabilities, as part of the tech pact.

The UK and the United States signed a trade agreement in June on the sidelines of the G7 summit in Canada. The deal still left UK steel and aluminum subject to 25 percent tariffs, rates that the UK government is working to reduce.

Speaking to reporters before departing for the UK on Sept. 16, Trump indicated that he was willing to further negotiate trade with the UK government.

“They want to see if they can refine the trade deal a little bit. We made a deal, and it’s a great deal. And I’m into helping them,” the president told reporters.

It was Trump’s second state visit to the UK; his first was in 2019, during his first presidential term, when he was hosted by King Charles’s late mother, Queen Elizabeth II.

A fact sheet issued in May by the Office of U.S. Trade Representative noted that the UK had not fully addressed its Digital Services Tax (DST), which Washington has criticized as discriminatory toward U.S. tech companies. It is unclear whether Trump will touch on the issue during his visit.

The two governments signed a nuclear energy deal just a day before Trump arrived in Britain, which the UK said would “turbocharge the build-out of new nuclear power stations” in both countries.
