Hadn’t anyone noticed? Just Before Covid cvs and rite aid bought up as many independent pharmacies as they could. And large grocery store chains bought up as many independents as well. We were to get communist gulag shortages and subscription drugs (and were shown how that was going to happen) but their big plans were foiled.
Kmarts gone. No department stores. The only place to get sundries is Walmart or Amazon. Need a desk lamp or toaster?
I don’t know how we get this back yet - where we had choices. But eventually this new Generation Kirk will start businesses.
