Subprime Crisis 2.0? Red Flags Fly As Alleged Fraud Triggers Billion-Dollar Auto-Lender Bankruptcy

Did a medium-sized canary just croak in the coalmine of consumer credit?

While the world and his pet rabbit was avidly glued to the screens, hanging on every word from Fed Chair Powell, something happened in a name that few have likely heard of that could have a much greater impact on markets.

After seeing its bonds rise week after week, seemingly amid confidence in the US consumer (especially at the lowest incomes)…

…prices for the almost $2 billion of debt behind subprime auto-lender Tricolor Holdings suddenly collapsed yesterday, leaving creditors across the US scrambling to stake their claim on the company’s remaining assets and contain their losses…

Senate confirms 48 Trump nominees after GOP implements 'nuclear option' rule change

Yeas outweighed the Nays 51 to 47

The Senate voted 51-47 on Thursday to confirm 48 of President Donald Trump’s nominees in one fell swoop, marking the first major wave of confirmations since Republicans changed chamber rules to overcome a Democratic blackade. Last week, the GOP implemented what they called the“nuclear option,” a rules change that allows groups of lower-level nominees to be approved together instead of one at a time. The shift ended months of stalled confirmations and opened the door to Thursday’s en bloc approval.

“These are just the first,” Senate Majority Leader John Thune (R-SD) said during floor remarks, according to The Hill “Republicans have fixed a broken process and restored the Senate precedent that applied to previous presidents — and that is allowing … a majority of a president’s nominees to be confirmed expeditiously. Today is the first slate of nominees. There will be more to come.”

GOP-run Jan. 6 subcommittee goes after trove of data deleted by Pelosi-appointed Jan. 6 committee

Chairman Rep. Barry Loudermilk (R-Ga.) sends demand letters for data to US Department of Justice and six contractors.

The new U.S. House Jan. 6 select subcommittee is putting on a full-court press to recover the documents, videos, transcripts, and other information its predecessor Democrat-run Jan. 6 committee either discarded or otherwise failed to turn over for two successive GOP-led Jan. 6 investigations.

The new House Select Subcommittee to Investigate the Remaining Questions Surrounding January 6, 2021, sent out seven demand letters Thursday to the U.S. Department of Justice, the University of Virginia, and five other contract vendors that worked with the now-defunct Jan. 6 Select Committee appointed in 2022 by then-House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.).

‘To date, Representative Thompson has failed to account for the missing footage and data.’

“The failure of the former January 6th Select Committee to properly archive more than a terabyte of data not only violated House Rules, it undermined the integrity of their entire investigation,” Subcommittee Chairman U.S. Rep. Barry Loudermilk (R-Georgia) told Blaze News in a statement. “My select subcommittee is determined to uncover the videos, digital data, transcripts, and summaries the former committee hid from the American people.”

The biggest request was made to Attorney General Pam Bondi for what could be a mountain of data from the DOJ.

“To assist in our oversight, we respectfully request that you produce to the Select Subcommittee all materials provided by the Justice Department to the January 6th Select Committee in the 117th Congress,” Loudermilk wrote to Bondi, “including all documents and communications between or among the January 6th Select Committee and the Justice Department.”

The work of the GOP-led House Jan. 6 investigation in the 118th Congress was stymied by more than 1 terabyte of missing digital data, including video footage of depositions and witness interviews. Loudermilk said former Select Committee Co-Chairman Rep. Bennie Thompson (D-Miss.) conceded in a July 2023 letter that he withheld that information from materials put into the archive.

COVID-19 "Vaccines" Linked to 63 Serious Central Nervous System Adverse Events

CDC/FDA safety thresholds breached as COVID shots disrupt the blood–brain barrier, unleashing meningitis, encephalitis, prion disease, brain abscesses, herpes reactivations, and more.

The study titled “COVID-19 mRNA Vaccination: Implications for the Central Nervous System,” authored by Kirstin Cosgrove, BM, CCRA; James A. Thorp, MD; Claire Rogers, MSPAS, PA-C; Steven Hatfill, MD; Nicolas Hulscher, MPH; and Peter A. McCullough, MD, MPH, has just been uploaded to Zenodo.

Using VAERS data from January 1990 through November 2024, we compared adverse events reported after COVID-19 vaccination to those after influenza vaccination and all other vaccines combined. We focused specifically on the central nervous system (CNS) — the brain and spinal cord, which control everything from memory and thought to movement and vital body functions. In total, we identified 63 serious safety signals involving the brain and nervous system, ranging from meningitis and encephalitis to brain abscesses, herpesvirus reactivations, demyelinating syndromes, and even prion diseases — each breaching CDC/FDA thresholds that are supposed to trigger immediate safety investigations.

The mechanism is clear: lipid nanoparticles deliver mRNA into brain blood vessels, where spike protein is produced and drives vascular inflammation. This damages the blood–brain barrier (BBB), the brain’s protective shield, and allows pathogens and latent viruses to penetrate, bacteria to seed abscesses, and immune responses to misfire against neural tissue. Spike protein itself can also cross into the brain, where it disrupts neurons and glial cells and promotes abnormal protein misfolding — a prion-like process resembling Creutzfeldt–Jakob disease and “mad cow disease.” Together, these effects explain why COVID-19 vaccination is associated with such a broad spectrum of severe neurological injuries.

Havaara Agreement, 1933: Controversial agreement to facilitate emigration of German Jews to Palestine

Haavara (Transfer) was a company established in 1935 as the the result of an agreement between

the Jewish Agency (the official Jewish executive in Palestine) and the Nazi regime. The agreement

was designed to facilitate Jewish emigration to Palestine. Though the Nazis had ordered Jewish

emigrants to surrender most of their property before leaving Germany, the Ha’avara agreement let

them retain some of their assets by transferring them to Palestine as German export goods.

Approximately 50,000 Jews emigrated to Palestine under this arrangement.

Israel Wants ‘Aerial Corridor’ Over Syria to Strike Iran

Tel Aviv’s primary objective in discussions with Damascus is to establish an aerial corridor over Syria so Israel can restart its war against Iran.

Axios reports that Israel presented the Syrian government, led by Ahmed al-Sharaa, with a maximalist agreement that would establish a no-fly zone over Syria. Additionally, Tel Aviv wants a large swath of Syria, from the Israeli border to Damascus, to become a demilitarized zone.

An Israeli source told the outlet that an essential part of the agreement will be maintaining the ability to use Syrian airspace to attack Iran. “A central principle of the Israeli proposal is maintaining an aerial corridor to Iran via Syria, which would allow for potential future Israeli strikes in Iran,” they said.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu started an unprovoked war with Iran in June. Tel Aviv targeted leadership in Tehran, nuclear facilities, and scientists. President Donald Trump joined the war by striking three Iranian nuclear sites that Israel lacked the military capability to destroy.

Israeli forces currently occupy southern Syria. Israel promised to withdraw its troops from Syria if Damascus accepted the agreement. On Wednesday, Sharaa said a deal with Israel was possible “in the coming days.”

Tel Aviv made a similar agreement with Hezbollah, where Israeli soldiers were scheduled to withdraw from South Lebanon after Hezbollah moved its forces out of the region. However, after the Hezbollah withdrawal, Tel Aviv maintained its occupation. Israel is now demanding that Hezbollah entirely disarm.

The Israeli invasion of Syria began after President Bashar al-Assad was overthrown by al-Sharaa last year. Al-Sharaa, formerly Abu Mohammad al-Jolani, is the founder of al-Qaeda’s Syria affiliate. President Donald Trump has met with Sharaa and lifted some sanctions on Syria in a push to get Damascus to make a deal with Tel Aviv.

This dude is goofy but what he is saying is spot on.

49% of consumer spending is coming from the top 10% wealthiest households.

The Middle Class just doesn’t matter as much anymore. The wealthy are much less reliant on them.

So you become expendable.

Armed group claims to set up area in Khan Younis for Gazans seeking alternative to Hamas rule

Former member of PA security forces Hossam al-Astal tells ToI that his faction has enough food, water and shelter for all * IDF confirms intercepting another Houthi drone from Yemen

A former member of the Palestinian Authority’s security forces in Gaza says he has formed a group operating against Hamas in southern Gaza’s Khan Younis, and urges Palestinians in the area to seek safety with him.

Hossam al-Astal tells The Times of Israel that his group will take in “whoever lives under Hamas’s oppression,” and that there is enough food, water and shelter for all.

“In the coming days, we will bring in another 300-400 people,” he says, adding that the group carries out security screenings to make sure those joining have no ties to Hamas.

Al-Astal’s group has established itself around the village of Kizan al-Najjar, just south of Khan Younis, which was emptied of its residents during the war. The location is about a kilometer from al-Mawasi, where Israel has directed Palestinians displaced from Gaza City.

“I am responsible for the (new) humanitarian zone in Khan Younis,” he explains, comparing his efforts to those of Yasser Abu Shabab, whose armed gang has set up security structures and civilian infrastructure as an alternative to Hamas rule in Israeli-controlled parts of Rafah in recent months.

The two men and their respective groups are in contact, al-Astal says, “but each of us operates independently.”

Hailing from a Bedouin family in the Khan Younis area, 50-year-old al-Astal says he worked in Israel for many years, and later for the PA’s security forces when they still controlled Gaza. He was jailed by Hamas several times. Hamas-linked social media accounts have shared images of al-Astal in recent days, accusing him of collaborating with Israel.

He says there is “coordination” between his group and Israel, and that soon “we will rely on Israel to bring us electricity and water.”

Al-Astal says the group has weapons to defend themselves and that they received funding from multiple sources, including the US, Europe, and unspecified Arab states.

“People here don’t want Hamas, they want peace with Israel,” he says. “I’m 50 years old; I remember when the army and Israel were in Gaza, and we lived in peace,” he reflects. “Children played, children went to school, and there were no problems. But today, Hamas’s terror has destroyed Gaza and its people.”
