yes… we all pounced on that one early on
but yrs later conclusive tests were performed
using ballistic gel and pig cadavers
and the conclusion was that the slight flattening of one side of the bullet
was entirely consistent with tumbling begining with the impact with the soft tissue of the neck
and then striking connally in the wrist broadside
sometimes truth IS stranger than fiction
